Pietro's Restaurant

Called to see if there was any availability for reservations, granted last minute, however a woman with a raspy voice said “745 but who calls the day of? No really” she continued to go on and we hung up on her. We always go to pietros for dinner and enjoy it but I wouldn’t spend any money under rude nasty combative people. You are running a business and should always be professional. You thrive on human interaction why treat a human less than? That doesn’t work for me and what goes around comes around. Always be kind to others.

Recently my husband and I ordered (takeout) the Chicken Parm special. The chicken was delicious but I was very disappointed in the tiny Styrofoam containers of pasta (one of them was angel hair which we both hate) especially since there was no bread or rolls included. So we boiled some spaghetti hoping to stretch our dinners but there was so little sauce that it wasn't very appetizing. Also, they told us they ran out of salad dressing (an Italian restaurant with no salad dressing! Couldn't go to the store and pick some up?) so we used our own at home. Both of us were still hungry afterwards. Pietro's was always my very favorite restaurant when I lived in Jessup in the 70s so I was very surprised at the small servings especially for the price we paid. Probably won't be ordering there anymore. Too bad.
