Bett And Bev's Bbq

We stopped here for lunch on the way through Jefferson. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We got the pulled pork sandwiches and they were half again bigger than most places we have been and were delicious. We ordered cheddar cheese balls and got twice as much as most places for the same price. Very good. And we got a frip. Big potato chips covered with pulled pork, smoked baked beans, and slaw. Very good. And I thought the price was very reasonable. We ordered more than we could eat because the portions were more than we are used to for this price. I recommend Bett & Bev's heartily.

My first experience at this place didn’t go so good. Although the staff were friendly and my order came out fast my issues are as follows. When ordering the girl asked if I would like spicy sauce on the sandwiches I ordered, I said yes. One got sauced the other did not. The meat was extremely dry as well. Disappointing. And thirdly. The portion size of the side was rather on the small side. I suppose for a $13.00 lunch special I expected more.
