Copeland's Of New Orleans

Definitely a cool go to spot... but don't expect no fine dining experience. It's just a cool place to eat and you can try some nice overpriced food. The portions are kinda kiddie and the grease is usually overwhelming. Don't get discouraged though because it's still pretty decent! I literally have to talk out both sides of my mouth with this place. I wouldn't put it on a never visit list but just go with lower expectations and you will enjoy it honestly.

I won't give it low stars because it was edible. However, thats about the only thing I can say that is positive. The food was higher priced then some other restaurants in the area that have better quality. The kids chicken was spicy (which I liked when I tried it to see why my son wasn't eating, but I feel most kids wouldn't care for it). The server kept forgetting we were there and it wasn't that busy. My dad did like the gumbo a lot so there was that. 3 stars seems accurate to me. Wasn't terrible, wasn't fantastic.

Unpleasant experience. Our server Shelby never came back to our table after taking our order. She also forgot to bring my beverage. Our appetizer was late. The manager had to bring our appetizer. Floyd , another server, periodically checked on our table so I asked if he would ring up our bill instead so I can give him the tip . I had the crabcake with angel hair pasta and shrimp. It was okay, the sauce appeared too runny. I've eaten at Copeland's alot throughout my life and this was the first negative experience I had. They definitely need to make some changes.

The Tomato Basil chicken was amazing! I heard their carrot cake was also but unfortunately they are so popular that they were completely out and had to order the Turtle cheesecake instead...was not disappointed! Turtle cheesecake was epic! We are from Missouri and had a very pleasant experience here!
