Sammy's Primetime Restaurant

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time. The Chicken Gemelli was delicious. Chicken was perfectly cooked & the sauce was so flavorful. Had a couple of drinks that were very good as well. If you’re in the area you really should stop by & enjoy a meal. *Edit - came back for another meal. Tonight had the 8 oz. filet, cooked medium. Melt in your mouth delicious.

Was a gourmet hamburger place farther down that was fantastic. We ordered two baskets of their wonderful cries. We were brought 2 baskets, with the bottom of the basket having french fries. Like 12 french fries. Both orders together was half a basket. Chicken fried steak the size of lunch meat, the mashed potatoes the size of half a golf ball, i will never return

$8.99 for Fried Ravioli -- they brought us 5 small pieces of ravioli. $18.99 for Fettuccine Alfredo -- medium sized bowl with 5 pieces of shrimp (the shrimp was pretty good), but the sauce was like a soup. No flavor. Ever shake your hands 20 times in a row? That's how many times you need to shake the salt to bring some flavor. Salad was also incredibly small. Why serve a house salad and have Caesar dressing as an option? You didn't even add grated Parmesan. Now that I think of Parmesan, our server did not offer Parmesan with our pasta. That Parmesan would have meant that I would I only need to shake the salt 15 times instead of 20. Service was poor. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Jefferson, TX deserves better than this.

Good atmosphere, no reservation needed like website said. My husband Asked waitress for Corona light, Oh they make corona light? I asked if my salad came with steak, "it did yesterday" ...After taking our order, she didn't say a word & walked away, my steak should have been MW, came Rare, sent back, still rare, got a box, asked for creamy horseradish, she was puzzled, & said, I explained what it was, she was confused, & said "wait What?" The chicken fried steak was to much breading. Asked for Ranch, she slid it on the table as she was walking by. Btw, we were her only table. I'm easy to please, don't like to look at negative, I understand if your busy, I was a server for years....this is a nice restaurant, they need to do better. The check was 70.00, I shouldn't have a horrible server, unprofessional. The Shrimp appetizer was good. She needs training.

The lack of customers on Friday night at 6:30 should have been our first indication to walk out. This was followed by the worst side salad I’ve seen in a long time, as well as “garlic bread” that would better be described as over-toasted French bread. Onion rings were pretty good, but everything was over-priced. Atmosphere also left much to be desired as several tables sat unoccupied and uncleared for the duration of our dinner.

Long wait to take order, only 3 tables with people. They were out of several items.Didn't bring one drink to one of our party. There were only about 8 fried mushrooms in the appetizer. Brought half the party's food out while others was still cooking. Took awhile before food was brought out and one order was wrong. Asked for refills and did not receive. Drinks were extremely watered down.

The place only had two waitresses but it was not busy. We waited a long time only to be told our order was given to someone else. So we wait another lengthy period. Hubby’s burger isn’t right. Wait prob 30 min for ticket. I was given a piece of pie, for the wait. Tasted it when we got to the car and it was awful. the only good thing about the place was the waitress was very sweet...just slow
