Very disappointed. My husband and I ordered two chopped brisket sandwiches and dirty rice which both tasted like they were out of a box. Barely any brisket flavor and overpowered by nasty BBQ sauce. The Mac n cheese, potatoes and corn were good. We also ordered blackberry cobbler and peach cobbler. They also tasted like they were frozen from a store and just thawed out... barely any flavor and not even sweet. $50 not well spent. 😕

I'm satisfied, and will be back with my family. Although I was hoping the chicken was cooked with the BBQ sauce, one bite let me know I was in for a treat. The sides seemed a bit small, but the meat portion (a half of a chicken) made the price paid seem miniscule. The sauce is a bit spicy for my taste, but not unpleasant in taste. All in all, I'll give them five stars. Y'all come give them a shot!

Delightful, tender, delicious ribs & sliced beef. What got my attention is “Open Sunday” - as there are no bbq restaurants in BeaumontTexas open Sunday. Corn casserole ¡ yum ! They have taters prepared several ways , all tasty & good. Their Cole slaw was sweet, savory & fresh. Bean Trifecta: Sweet beans, baked beans & green beans. Their ribs are perfection. We actually got a second rib plate & sidelined the sliced beef sandwich ‘til we got home from our road trip 5 hours later. We split it for dinner. Soooo gooood! Wish we had another. I’ll be back with family & friends. As Tony the Tiger would say, “This place is grrrrreat!”

Smitty's is a good place to eat , dine in or carry out . But the prices are extremely high and the food is not as good as ot use to be . That's from my experience . The potato salad was just like sweetened potatoes with very little ingredients . Anyway , I would put them on the back burner . Certainly wouldn't be 1st choice
