Can the owner, Mike, be any nicer? If you are looking for the 'Norm from Cheers' experience, this could be your place. I was feeling hesitant to come back, even though my social night life consists soley of me crazy dancing on band nights, because I projectile vomited on his building the last time I had too much fun. However, Mike came over and gave me a hug and reassured me that this, shockingly, happens all the time.

Best experience I've had in Jasper in the year I've lived here. Everyone made me feel like part of the family. Even the crazy cousin, too young to be an uncle. Lol. The owner sat with me, showing videos on his phone. I've never had an experience in this town like that. I'll be there tonight for live music and more of the same, I hope. I may have found my home away from home last night.

We were in town for a few days on a fishing trip and JR's wasn't far from our hotel so night one we figured we'd check the place out for a drink before turning in. What a great little dive bar! It ended up being our landing spot every evening. Great drink prices and the owner Michael Beck is a top notch guy along with his staff! After night one we were taken in by not only them but the regulars as well. It felt like we were at home! Do try the pizza! A 50 year old recipe that they make fresh ingredients for atleast 3 days a week. If you like a thin and crispy perfectly baked pie don't leave town without trying one! The wings were pretty top notch as well! See you all next time I'm down that way!
