Hidden treasure on the way from JFK to LGA. Walkable from JFK. Food is great, but the live music makes it a special place to visit. There is also a flower vendor who visits the diners in case they want to buy. Great destressor. I had prawn and rice. Perfectly made.

The service here is really nice and fast. The food is mostly good and the pupusas are delicious. Just some things are a bit over fried but not too bad. I would love to come here more often but I just wish the prices weren’t too high.

Delicious food for a great price! Service is amazing and the environment is great to sit back, relax and enjoy your salvadorean food. The place is very clean and well kept. Pupusas are a must have! They are also cordial and if you have food allergies let them know and they'll substitute or cook in a contaminated free environment :) excellent service with excellent food!

We entered to a home-like colorful and inviting place. The food was tasty, seasoned and delicious. We had El Ranchero meal of the lunch special menu. The plate came with casamiento (mixed rice and beans), fried sweet plantain, pupusa, white cheese and chorizo. Helena the owner was approachable super kind lady. Also the waitresses. We had a nice experience and we can’t wait to go back. ❤️👌🏾😎

Live music, homemade food, 43 years in the business... Amazing food by the way, I had the ilopongo and a blackberry shake, which was fantastic. The rice, beans, and meat mix was a good side choice to the ilopongo, and the plantain was fried rice and soft but not mushy. The shake was frothy, thick, and chunky with real blackberry, and, no lie, about foodgasmed at that table with how good it all was. Will go back for more
