Olive Branch Cafe

Stopped by twice in one week for breakfast. 1) Gladly made substitutions in an omelet my sister ordered. She was happy and said it was delicious. I had toast, crispy bacon, decaf coffee, and cherry pie. 2) Omelet again for her with sourdough toast and hash browns, again great. I tried the Mexicali omelet with chorizo (just a tad spicy), home style potatoes, decaf and toast. Well done. Will stop again.

The place was busy and you are required to wait to be seated but the manager was too busy video chatting on her phone to seat you. Waited 5-6 min for her to finish her call. She even turned enough so anyone looking could see the video call. Biscuits and gravy were terrible. Biscuits overdone. They do not split the Biscuits just plop them down and cover with gravy. All you taste is a heavy over done biscuit. The toast does not even have any color on the bread nor the butter melted. I ordered over medium eggs and got over easy. The American fries and crispy bacon were only good things. I haven't been here in person in over a year and now I remember why I don't like their breakfast service.

I didn't see that it looked like the pic that's here, but the waitress was nice, not over attentive but was still close. The omelet I ordered was good, but it didn't have much in it for the ten bucks that it cost. Although pleasant, the meal was over priced, $25 for an omelet, one pancake, two eggs and a piece of ham, coffee and a small milk. I could have fed a family of ten the same meal for about the same price.
