Not much to look at from the outside. As a matter of fact when I saw outside I wanted to go somewhere else. Once inside the staff was very good and the sushi was outstanding. I ordered about ten different sushi rolls for 4 people. The variety was simply outstanding. Miso soup and wow. There was so much left over we all took some home for dinner . I highly recommend this place. Do not judge the book by the cover.
Great food! I love the sushi and the clear soup is always good. The service is amazing and the people are so sweet, as well as very helpful. Second time going and definitely going again. The Twin roll is AMAZING, you have to try it.
I was looking for a quick bite to eat close by after getting some supplies and happened to walk into Wasabi.
The server said I could customize and substitute my meal with only rice or only noodles or even double up or replace veggies etc. That flexibility is why I decided to dine here and just got 2 bowls of soup instead of the salad.
The large sake is only $6.99 but the small bottle for $3.99 was more than enough for both of us. It was a decent meal.
I gave 4* bcos they charge 75 cents for yum yum sauce. I didn't order any yum yum sauce but on principle I don't like restaurants that nickel and dime patrons. That's like charging for ketchup with an order of fries or a burger.

The service is lacking in this place. It just doesn't feel very welcoming but that often is a waiting problem and food flavor always takes priority over service for me. On the other side of things the food had a lot of good flavor. I eat sushi all over the place and this is what I would call good. I had the scallions wrapped with beef as an appetizer. It was really good as well. I'm not much on tofu but my wife really liked the fried tofu appetizer as well.
This is a very calming restaurant. The sushi and hibachi is delicious. It is very small and seating is limited so be prepared to wait or order to go
My boyfriend and I definitely enjoyed the food. Staff could be more friendly and welcoming....
Recently August 1, 2021, Wasabi continues to have our business. Because of the quarantine due to covid, we enjoy placing our order and just picking up. The food is still good.
Stopped on the way back up from the zoo and so glad we did. The fancy rolls we had were well-conceived and well-built, the 2 standard rolls were above standard, all were DELICIOUS, and their presentation was done by someone who cares.
But seriously, they set up our little kids right away, the staff was on point, and everything was fantastic. Thank you!
Also excellent prices. And where did you get those small black and gold tiles on the wall? Cool. See you again.
Every thing came out fresh and the taste, oh the taste. Hopefully the next time is as or better.
My order from Wasabi is pretty simply, Dynamite rolls and a sweet tea. The shrimp sauce is amazingly delicious.
From the outside I was sceptical, but once we sat down and ate... DAMN the food was immaculate! the presentation and flavor is outstanding! the crisp on the chicken was perfect, I don't think I've ever had sushi and food that was this good 10/10 would dine again. nice lighting and quiet too my compliments to the chef. :D
