I love the food and the prices..the food and i mean all of it is 👍. The prices are amazing and its a smaller family owned business and not some big sandwich shop. If i could i would eat here everyday . theythey also have homeme desserts and ice cream and shakes

Where has this secret little gem been hiding?!? I had no idea this great sandwich shop existed. You walk in and there's a wall of hot sauce and refrigerators full of speciality sofa! The walls are decorated with mix match of sports paraphernalia and local paper clippings and the staff is friendly. All the food is made to order and the hot sandwich meats are grilled! Got the Camel Rider and loved it. It will probably be my new lunch go-to from now on!

Adams Sandwich Shoppe is a treat for our neighborhood, they have a great steak in a sack, along with the typical sandwhich shoppe menu, but what's more is the staff who are always happy to talk to the neighbors about the news of the day, It's a special place for me living in the neighborhood, my sons and I will "sneak out from mom and sister" at 6am and walk to Adams where we eat breakfast on a PAC MAN game table and play PAC MAN while we eat our food, it's become a father and son tradition, my boys call it " boys night out" because it's still dark and they think mommy doesn't know what's going on, but at 6am the breakfast is always ready and delicious, the menu is huge so my boys have much to choose from, and in the afternoon it's a great place to get some ice cream or a slushy, moms never upset the boys snuck out when we return with a blue raspberry slushy, where else can you find a real slushy at 6am in Jax, I only wish Adams was open 24 hours, but I understand a gracious, fast, and friendly staff needs to get some sleep, but if your in our neighborhood don't go to the place across the street, don't go to the countless wanna-be sandwhich shoppes, take your family to Adams where you can enjoy the vibe of a real NYC sandwhich shoppe, and try one of the many varieties of pop in a bottle, I'll take a cheer wine!

Close to work so I eat there a lot. Not quality but good got lunch. Call ur order in or they will deliver if ur close.

This is a small old-school sandwich shop and it is wonderful. Massive amounts of old school drinks, cherry limeade, and hot sauces. From breakfast to cold and hot sandwiches, this place is great. It is a small operation, so please be patient.....Had the pastrami yesterday, and it was fantastic
Loved it. I've been looking for a place that makes me feel like I'm back home. It seemed most all of the customers knew each other, and John made conversation with them, and me.
Pastrami and egg pita was good! Hashbrowns were cooked well and could easily be covered with lots of ketchup because of the pump dispenser.
Gyro had lots of meat and the meat is tasty. The taziki sauce was plenty but it wasn't strong tasting. Missing some dill and cucumber taste
Wonderful breakfast egg, sausage, and cheese pita with butter! Lots of eggs inside and so good.
His cheeseburgers and fries are so fantastic as well.
A great place to have breakfast and lunch. Closes at 😁 3 so get it early
as apposed to later in the Day.
He also has great coffee, iced tea, and more sodas that you can imagine! Try it, you won't be sorry

Food was nice and fresh which is a big plus! Craft soda collection is by far one of the best I've seen in jax :) Service was good a little slow to ring you up but that is the only negative with customer service. My only concern is how cluttered it is behind the service counter. Looks like most of the things haven't been used in ages! If they tidied up a bit it'll look great!
Im delited and extremely surprised by this place. The sandwich was exceptional and the menu has a great deal of variety. The staff really seems to care about the quality of the food, drinks, and sauces. I will certainly return to this place to try more options and enjoy the character of the restaurant.

Food was delicious. Classic soda collection has a large variety. Prices were more than reasonable, especially considering the rising prices everywhere else. My coworker and I came in and got a cheeseburger, a cuban, and a Moxie, for $19. Owner is very welcoming and our food was out within 15 minutes, cooked fresh to order. All in all, it's a good local spot that I will be returning to. I got a kick out of reading John's review, he seemed irrationally angry over what is a comfy and well-priced sandwich shop.
This is a great breakfast spot. The food is delicious and it has such a classic atmosphere. I highly recommend this place?
