Mr. Ed's in my opinion, has the best bbq in the city. I have eaten bbq throughout the city from the chain bbq joints to the mom and pop stands. By far, Mr. Ed's tops all of them from the of the food, down to the price. The only complaint, I have is, I wish they would bring back the smoked turkey and rice soup, along with the field peas & rice.
Hands down best bbq in Jacksonville. The ribs are delicious, the Mac n cheese tastes like what my aunt used to make at family reunions. Their baked beans are spot on perfect. I highly recommend their pulled pork plate as well. This isn't "fast food" bbq like some places serve, this is the real deal. The mild sauce they make goes great with anything, I try to go by here at least twice a week.
An amazing place with lovely people. The BBQ was ✋down the best BBQ sauce I have tasted. The ribs were so 🔥 soft the meat 🍖meat fell off the bone . This was a wonderful meal. And I highly praise the chef & the workers who made it possible. Thank you!!!

Great Food, have not been there for about a year and am trying to decide where to get dinner tonight. I wanted to look at the menu for Mr. Ed's but it isn't on the website. Just a friendly suggestion, but you really should think about putting at least some of your menu on your website. I get that you sometimes run out of things bit put that with the menu kinda like while supplies- ribs- last. List what your dinner and lunch specials are. It may make the difference for people like me who need to gather up the families order prior to going to grab dinner. It is much easier when they can tell me what they want but we can't if we do not know what you have. I hate going somewhere having to call home and read the menu 5 times to each family member and then they have to decide what they want , it is a pain in the a@#. That is the only improvement I can see that should be made. The food and service was always great, the ribs are tender flavorful. Now I am getting hungry !! Well Mr. Ed I hope to see you tonight if my family can get it together to place their order because lord knows they are not coming with me !!!~
Omar is amazing and has the best vibe. The bbq is so good and has me going back craving more. The best smallest food truck of the sorts I've stumbled across on accident and I'm not even mad!! It's great 👍
Ed's BBQ is some of the best in Jax! The shack may be small, but the flavor is big. Ed is always so nice and working really hard. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area or going totally out of your way for too!

I tend to find that the smaller the building, the better the food and this place rings true to that fact for Sure! Ribs were meaty, tender and seasoned to perfection. The sausage and pulled pork stepped up for the challenge and were both delicious. From the spice of the sausage to the smoke of in the pork and ribs were BBQ greatness. Let's talk about the sides, The collards were some of the best I've had in Jacksonville, the "Smoked" corn on the cob (I'm stealing this to use at home one day) was fantastic and the green beans with potatoes were close third, if I had to complain it would be that the Mac n cheese was on the dry side, however the taste was on point and it was the end of the night, so I'll have to give it another shot. In closing, if you're on the Westside of Jacksonville near 103rd & Blanding Blvd, look for the little red shack in the parking lot next to the Check Cashing place....You won't be disappointed!

Mr. Ed's Bar B Que has the BEST RIB's in Town and a lot of Tender Tasty Meat. Price is unbelievably so Great for what you get.

Good food I love little spots like this . More people should give little business a chance. You will be surprised how much better the food is then all this chain restaurants...
I ordered the Rib lunch special! The meat was soooo tender, I pulled it from the bone with my fork. The meal was tasty and affordable.
Not bad I stopped there once in awhile ribs are good chicken is good the food is okay pretty decent place
If you want barbeque, this is the place! If you are leaving Bailey's you'll smell it. Give it a shot after an intense workout to really appreciate it!
