Olde Florida Cafe

I used to work in the area and made lunch at this cafe a frequent escape from the hectic work environment. The people who own and work here are very pleasant. The menu offers something for everyone. The salads are HUGE, and the desserts take you home. The coconut cake was my mother's favorite. I make the cafe a destination, not only when I want to eat, but when I want to escape into the sanctity of a peaceful environment. I cannot say enough good things. Love this place. The food is great and the wait staff is friendly. HOWEVER, the place fails miserably in the service time. They are right on point when it comes to getting your order, but after that you have time to read the entire news reports before you get your meal. Then after eating, find something else to read because you have another long wait before you get the waitress to bring you the bill and then later, the credit card slip to sign. All time total you are looking at 1 hour to 2 hours from the time you arrive until the time you leave (if you eat fast). And yes, this is during rush and not during rush.
