I like this Bono’s location because of its location and its proximity in my daily commute. If you’re from Jacksonville, then you know what Bono’s is. Bono’s is quality bbq at reasonable prices.
I always get the large two meat platter: brisket and ribs. They have a vast selection of sauces but I recommend their sweet and tangy sauce.
The only downfall of this location is that they have a bbq that is open and visible to the dining area. Their ventilation does not do a good job of capturing the smoke and often lingers in the dining area. You will smell like bbq smoke all day after leaving this location.

BONO'S ON NORTHSIDE OF JACKSONVILLE. We had a very good dinner there. So glad we finally got something that is good to go to close to home.

Amazing service! Corn nuggets amazing! I got the smoked wings and collard greens, and it was amazing! My husband’s food was “super delicious!”. Portions are a good size for the price. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Tasty and delicious! Succulent meats and good BBQ side dishes from corn to beans and cole slaw. The ribs are mouthwatering and won today's contest! Chicken and pulled pork are also solid choices. Variety of barbecue sauces (I recommend trying different mixtures, personal fave is the hot as a base with a good amount of sweet/tangy and a pinch of hickory). Save room for dessert - the banana pudding and cobbler are both tried and true.
Great food, great service! The smell of BBQ (a smoker) as soon as you walk in! Coming from Baltimore we wanted to visit Grandma and grab a quick bite to eat. The 5 of us got our food pretty quickly. The waitress was great as well.
I forgot to take a before picture. Lol!!! I got the Turkey Sandwich though. I wasn't a fan of the meat. It was really tender and not the typical meat consistency I'd expect. Everything else was really good and the sauces as well. The service was nice and our waitress was really friendly and kept checking in on us. :)
Best ribs in town. I should qualify that when I say the best ribs in town, I mean at the Duval Station Road location. Just about any other Bono's is garbage when it comes to ribs.
The food was very good, the waitress was very helpful and friendly , she did an excellent job serving our party of 8. Price was reasonable. Would definitely go back.
Came in for lunch on a weekday, wasn't too busy. Food was hot and service was decent. Had pulled pork, bakes beans, and mac-n-cheese.
First of all, our server was Cher- and for someone so busy, because Game day, she still managed to make us feel very important. Always checking in. Will be back specifically to see her.

Food was awesome. Chicken was very tender, the Ribs were out of this world and Had a sample of the beef which was awesome. If you are near the Jacksonville Airport come to the Bono’s on Duval Station Rd. Service is great….
