Excellent all the way around! Good food, good music, great service. Accessible for electric wheelchair and manual aids too. Roomy bathrooms and clean. Do yourself a favor and visit for food, then later for dancing and whatever. Full bar, Kareoke...
Who doesn’t like a good Latin meal. One never leaves hungry. Nice portions.
Had the shrimp mofongo & red snapper.
They don’t mix the shrimp & plantains here- cooked separately. Still tasty.
Nice size fish- really enjoyed.
Updated: Wife had the beef stew, I had the red snapper.
No one leaves hungry.
Back Again. Had the Pollo Guiso, tasty, light on the chicken.
Wife had the Pernil with Maduros. She enjoyed it. The Maduros too soft.
Neighborhood atmosphere.
Never disappoints.
Good service.
Authentic boricua food and a huge variety of options on the menu. We had mofongo, bistec encebollado, tostones, queso frito and the tripleta sandwich. Everything was well seasoned, well portioned, and delicious! Our new favorite Puerto Rican restaurant in Jax!
Stopped by this restaurant for an early dinner yesterday and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We just returned from vacationing In Puerto Rico a few months ago and this restaurant was better than several locations we tried on the island. We were seated right away and the service was great, always attentive with a smile. The waitress was patient and made thoughtful recommendations on the menu. She even went to the back to locate one of my husband’s favorite drinks which was awesome. The food was very flavorful and sweet plantains cooked to perfection. The portions are huge and well presented. It was definitely worth the 25 minute drive and our plan is to become regulars, I highly recommend you eat here!!!
Probably one of my favorites when Im on the west side of Jacksonville!
Mofongo always on point, fried chunks so juicy and flavorful and their bar is always stocked with Presidente! Can’t go wrong here!
Took the team there and had a great time!
Just moved to Jax and this is my go to spot for latin food. They have all of my favorite dishes from my culture, food is delicious and their presentation is fantastic. The servers are friendly and the atmosphere gives me all the latin vibes.
First time at Latin House Grill. It was a great experience. Beer was super cold, and food was very delicious. The Pernil was very tender and tasty, as the Pollo al Horno. The Arroz con Gandules was off the chain. Will definitely recommend. Can't wait to go again.
Latin House Grill presents authentic Latin cuisine in an inviting atmosphere. When you enter, you can pick a seat to your liking and a waitress will take your order shortly. This is a Latin restaurant of course so don't be surprised when the waitress speaks to you in Spanish. This did not hinder me from ordering anything.
The menu includes a fair selection of entrees, all priced very reasonably. I decided to try a classic - the Cuban sandwich with a side of sweet plantains. To drink, I got a Malta. The food arrived in 5-10 minutes and was pretty good. The ingredients were fresh, the pork and ham were hearty, the pickles, cheese and mustard were tasty. The plantains arrived very hot and, while not as crispy as I prefer, were great.
The overall environment can be described as busy but inviting. Small groups of people were seated enjoying their meals while the bar area contained a few men laughing over swapped stories. This place is very roomy, containing many tables, making it suitable for large parties. As a side note, the bathroom is kept quite clean. If you're looking for a hot plate of rice and beans, stop by and enjoy.
I went on a karaoke night. What a fun surprise! Food was great, people were friendly and the singing was a blast. The service is usually pretty good. They have been a little understaffed lately.
Pretty good. A little bit pricey, but they give you plenty of food. The mofo go with roster pork and salad, was great. The server, very nice and the place spacious. Will visit again.
