Bad ambience, great hamburgers, great onion rings. Will go back. Hope to try sitting outside when the weather permits. When we went a couple days ago the back deck didn't even seem lit up, looked dark (or was that window tinting).
It's clear they don't want patrons hanging around because the decor is almost like a Burger King. Ouch.
Maybe we'll try getting the food to go next time, and take it somewhere that's enjoyable to be.
Good service and great food,consistently. Laid back with outdoor seating available. Great for kids as they have room to run around and see birds,geese and turtles.

Consistently Good!. My wife & I frequent the Loop several times a month in their various locations however we love the Avondale location by far because of the consistent manner in which our food is prepared. I love the Loop-n-bleu burger which is a staple of my diet at the Loop, however lately I've been dining on Loop-n-cheddar which is the bomb too! My wife usually gets a chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese, my girl like veggies with her sandwich me being the glutton that I am (6'4 300ibs) love the onion rings! Lately we've been sharing their wonderful new spinach salad, featuring mushrooms, red onions, & real chopped bacon in a balsamic vinaigrette, very good! The Loop Avondale is one of our go to places for a good lunch or dinner & the view of the St. Johns River doesn't hurt one bit!
Love their burgers! We usually get once at week for take out at work! I get the loop and Swiss med rare! It's close to being the best burger I've had! Great service
Yummay. I love all of their pizzas and all of their burgers. Most times everything comes out perfect but sometimes the burgers are more on the greezy side. Made sure you get it medium well! NOm NOm
Gigantic, awesome burgers.
I take my kids there for dinner fairly often and we all love it. The servers are friendly and the only issue I've had was a cashier who didn't know about a special they were having. It sits on an inlet of the St Johns and we like watching the herons and boaters through the big windows. And as an extra bonus, it's in the same building as Sivada's Cupcakery.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE!. I eat here frequently for lunch and ALWAYS get the best service and the food is consistently good.
It’s a great Loop location, maybe my favorite. The vibe is nice, it’s near a marina. Their signature burgers are solid but my favorite is the pizza. It has a light feel to it and the flavors are delicious. The tomato soup and their salads are both excellent. Service is solid as well.
Such a cute Loop tucked away in an unexpected place! A friend and I walked over after a morning at Chamblin's and had a delightful lunch. Good staff, good food, and lovely decor in this vintage Loop
I truly miss the loop as it was in the early 2000's. That being said, the food is still great 20years later. That never has disappointed me. However, this location is very small and apparently very popular. So arrive early if you want a place to sit. And be polite, if it's just two of you, save the booths for bigger parties. Space is limited and valuable here. Service is good but they seemed overwhelmed at times. Still got my order in a timely matter, just needs a bit more oil In the gears persay.
Really loved the vibe here! We visited for the first time yesterday, around 6pm on a Friday. We seemed to get there before the dinner rush as there was no one in front of us. Ordered at the counter and our buzzer went off after sitting down for about 10 minutes. We sat outside in the patio area and it was nice. Not pictured is the loop cheeseburger but was told it was good. I had the salmon sandwich and it was good but the salmon lacked flavor and seasoning. I did enjoy the dill tartar sauce that came with it though. Might need to try it Cajun style next time. Pepperoni pizza was delicious. Can't remember the other pizza type but was told it was good too.

Mostly we order from an app for delivery, but have been in store before too. This place is reliably good, a go-to place. Food is always fresh, especially the salads, and the pizza and burgers are good too. Good service. A solid place.
We get take out there at least once a week. Usually a big order; sometimes for 5 people. We have called 30 to 40 minutes before closing, and they will still take the order and the food is still cooked great. We get a lot of our food well done and they still do it even if they are close to closing.
All the food there is great. They have some of the best onion rings and bacon cheeseburgers, but the pizza and steak fries are amazing too. You can't really go wrong with what you order here.
This place is always great, their pizzas are amazing, but the burgers are on point and cooked to order and cooked exactly how you want them.
