Not the best, not the worst. The prices are ok. The portions could be bigger. It's tasty. Best for lunch. They are not as busy as they use to be. I don't know why though.

Great place when you are craving Mexican food. My usual is the Chimichanga with either steak or chicken, but the burritos and tacos are also great. You may also want to give the flautas a try. If you love tacos, be sure to stop by for Taco Tuesday. I also love their chips and queso. Here is a tip just in case you weren't aware, you can free refills on the chips and queso, sometimes they'll even ask you if you want a refill of chips and queso to take home.

Pleasantly surprised and really liked the food. It's counter service, so you line up to order - they then shout your name and bring it to your table. Fairly quick even though it was fairly busy :-)
The surfer vibe was cool, but the patina on the metal chairs while authentic, doesn't give a very clean/sterile impression.
The ceiling tiles were a unique touch and very creative and worth a visit to see that style!

It's been a while since I've been to a Tijuana Flats. I was not disappointed. The manager helped us get situated and gave some food suggestions. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and eager to help out. The food was great. I had the bowl, it was very filling. I think they could have given more chips with the meal. The atmosphere was spot on. The two bathrooms were single occupancy, waiting for one to be available was a bit of a drag. I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Not too bad of an experience at Tijuana Flats. The queso was quite tasty and the chips have a unique flavor. The tacos have potential but be warned that if you order corn tortillas (soft), they probably will not be what you would expect; slightly larger and flimsy.
