Seriously some amazing BBQ.. Both the sauces and the meat are awesome. The biggest problem I have here is trying to decide what sides to get, because they are all delicious.
Good BBQ. I think this place is a great place just outside of the town center area.
The pulled pork is great, and the staff is excellent. They try to space everyone out, so the noise level isn't overwhelming!

As usual, Bono's remains one of my favorites for BBQ. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. Good because we eere tired. The brisket was perfect and the small platter was enough for me (and I'm a big guy). Best of all, the price was reasonable.
I had the brisket sandwich and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. The Cole slaw had no flavor or seasoning. Brisket was good but much better with the sweet BBQ sauce. Corn nuggets were delicious! Service was great!
We needed help getting a friend's electric wheelchair into the trunk, which was too heavy for three of us alone. The manager and one other worker came out and helped us lift it; we couldn't have done it without them. Wonderful place and wonderful people! Thank you so much!
The Turkey was so good loved it. The Brunswick stew was so fresh. Banana pudding was off the charts. Our server Kathryn was so friendly and awesome at her job. She really came through with the banana pudding suggestion. 👍

First time at the recently rebuilt Bono's and have mixed feelings. First my review is either a strong 3 ⭐ or a weak 4 ⭐. Reasons are across the board. Our party of 5 arrived at 6pm and were seated right away. Welcome service was slow but that's due to limited staffing. Our server seemed new and overwhelmed by the number of tables and other duties she was attempting to perform. Normally that would be 3 ⭐ but during these times give her 4 ⭐. May I suggest that as you are doing so many things that you scan your area as diners are trying to get your attention. The food was good but rather slow coming out with items forgotten as well as utensils so 4 ⭐. We ordered several different choices. Bill had the 2 Meat large platter with Brisket and Sausage $16.99 which was good but a little light on quantity but still 5 ⭐. I had the 6 Wings and ordered the Fried Corn but got French Fries and no corn 3 ⭐. Guest had the 1949 Burger... rather overcooked and dry so 2 ⭐. Another guest did ribs, good but nothing to write about 4 ⭐. Another got the Cheese Burger again dry so 3 ⭐. Drink refills were slow in coming and after a guest went to the manager she assisted our server in straightening things out including the Checks. As you can see we had issues, not enough to give a poor review but enough not to give it a great one. One final Big Negative... these were the most uncomfortable chairs we have ever sat on in a restaurant. Our entire party complained to each other almost to the point of wanting to stand to eat and even leaving before we ordered and the food came. Bono... please change the seating or provide cushion for the chairs as they get 5 👎👎👎👎👎 and are a pain in the Butt.
This is honestly my favorite Bonos location in Jacksonville. But today I had a bad experience with Uber eats when I ordered. I called the Bonos directly to see if they would make it right and talked to Kat. She made everything right for me in the best way. She was so calming and efficient She really turned a bad situation into a great experience. It’s people like her that make us keep coming back to an establishment. I hope she is getting the recognition she deserves. What an asset she truly is. But if not I’ll be in there soon enough with a job offer. Honestly I want and need her on my staff. She was just grand. ♥️✨

Exceptional doesn't even describe how wonderful of an experience we just had. Patrick, the server we were blessed with today was amazing and the reason we will be returning again and again. We have already had wonderful experiences at this location since it reopened but today really confirmed how well staffed and organized this restaurant really is. Our hostess was also wonderful. She had a warm and welcoming greeting and made us feel home. We were seated and also kindly greeted by Patrick. He was knowledgeable of the menu, kind and courteous when taking our order which includes a lot of particular allergy requests, and was very quick in completing our orders. The food was beyond fantastic and some of the best food available to people in this area. This particular individual really deserves kudos, rewards, praise, a raise and as many shifts as possible. He is a wonderful representation of the company. We are big on customer service as business owners in the food service ourselves. We firmly believe customers would be blessed to have him serve them. It was a pleasure to tip the check today. He deserves it. We hope management and corporate joins us in celebrating him.
My husband and I love this location, especially because they have a drive- thru. We went today and were (are) very happy with the service we received from Rachel Carter. She’s friendly, courteous, and provides an excellent customer experience. In addition to the great service from Rachel, we have never had a bad meal from this location. We highly recommend the store. Ask for Rachel. She will take very good care of you.

New to eating at this establishment. I ordered the char-grilled chicken sandwich, fries and sweet potato. The food was delicious. I returned the next day and ordered the chicken tenders platter with fries and a sweet potato. Didn't care for the mustard/vinegar taste of the original BBQ sauce but the hot version is pretty good
