Folks.....I go to great effort to find the BEST on the First Coast. Recently I noticed Toby’s BBQ via several social media posts regarding recognition they have received for their ribs. I had to find out more....

Great breakfast great coffee fast service. Served with a smile. Would recommend this restaurant just off innerstate easy on and off no need to go very far for your meal then gas up and get back on the way to your destination. Come enjoy their lunch specials also you won't be dissapointed.
Great food at a great price. You should definitely give this place a try. The loaded potato which only cost $10 is absolutely phenomenal. It comes with turkey, pork and beef with cheese on it. I have yet to be able to finish it. Check this place out.
My wife and I made the cross-town trip from the Southside to here, and it was definitely worth it! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, my wife's loaded potato was a meal in itself, and the service was awesome! The rustic atmosphere was like stepping back into my childhood. Stopped in for breakfast. Cozy setting. Our waiter forgot about us a few times (place wasn't busy,) but luckily we sat in the back near the managers office so she whipped it into shape.

Great chopped pork! Good brisket, could be a little fatter. Service had always been good and they can make tea without burning it. Go here pretty much every Thursday.
Lunch special comes with a lot of food, plus a choice of pudding or brownie for dessert. Fast service for the special, slower for other menu items. It's relatively inexpensive, home cooked feel, tastes like a church pot luck.
The only place I go to get a home cooking. It's not just barbecue, it's cooking with love. The staff is sooo nice. Listen, they have a breakfast that's so awesome and large. I wish they had a better sign, because one will drive past it. It's in a great spot (US1 and 295).
It's good. Real Good. Cool inside too.

Food is really good, friendly service and the place is unique. Get there early for lunch as it gets super busy which is a good sign. Great barbecue for sure.
If you're coming around lunch expect a short wait, stopped because there were so many cars in the parking lot we figured it had to be good. We were definitely right! Inexpensive and delicious with an extremely friendly waitstaff.
