My absolute favorite place to get Mexican food. They have amazing hot sauces! And amazing sweet tea! I always get the chicken and chese hard tacos! They are great at accommodating allergies! I highly recommend
Hey Lovelies, There is a relatively new marketplace that has been open on the north side of town for a few years and as of late there has been a lot of new eateries being built and I couldn't be more excited! Tijuana Flats is one of the restaurants that have recently opened and a friend of mine and myself to give it a try for lunch! When we walked in I was impressed by the artwork on the walls!!! I love colorful restaurants! It was also pretty packed which is what I expected considering we went around lunch time. One thing that I absolutely LOVE is great customer service and that alone was a reason for me to go back to this Tijuana Flats! The customer service here is AMAZING!!! Everyone is so nice and attentive to your needs as a consumer. So much so the hostess offered to bring me a drink while I waited in line!!! Whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, I feel it a necessity to order chips and salsa. Wellll....it was O.K. I was hoping the salsa had a little more flavor. However,
Last night in town, needed something fast and close to the hotel... Very glad I chose this place. The staff is super friendly and laid back, extremely fast service. Had a steak burrito and a beer. All food was reasonably priced and you get a lot of food for your money. The salsa bar was good, the salsas are all liquid style as opposed to chunky, but each of them unique. I like spicy food, and thought their scorpion pepper sauce actually tasted good (not easy to achieve since scorpion peppers generally don't taste all that good) the jalapeno sauce was also tangy and delicious. You would be hard pressed to leave here hungry. Definitely recommend.
Love their burrito and taco options! Much better flavored and ingredients than other fast food options. Their hot sauce options are ridiculously good, I have never had a “bad meal” at TF!
Have been a fan of Tijuana flats for quite some years now and just wanted to shine some light on Steven that I met at this location today. Absolutely amazing service, so very welcoming and thorough, made sure I was 100% happy and taken care of today. They store looks to be taken care of even better than before, stocked, clean and shiny. Give this man a raise and some vacation time because I know that amount of care takes a lot out of a person but you will never get a better employee!

Great price. Fun atmosphere. They have the large sized Mexicokes! If you want quick Mexican food, this is the best of “fast food.”
Great service. On our receipt it said our cashier was “Wright.” So thank you to her for her excellent attitude when the place was busy and she was handling it wonderfully.
There was also a group of crows outside who I found delightful. Apparently they occasionally find it fun to pull the paper towels out of the holders. Probably not funny to the staff, but I enjoyed their company.
This place showed us Southern hospitality in every way. The door was held for us before we even walked up to the door and was greeted by one of the staff members Honesty. Honesty & Abby helped us with our orders and helped us with deciding what was best. The manager Nicole showed great customer service and leadership skills that is rare to find in a restaurant atmosphere. All three ladies made sure we were good with everything. The food was delicious: Queso, Salsa, everything really. Nicole told us those sides are made fresh daily in house and it definitely tastes that way. Thank you Nicole, Honesty, & Abby for making our experience at your establishment rememberable, we will definitely be back.
In my opinion, this restaurant is underrated. The tex-mex is better or at least as good as the one you can find in other restaurants that are usually considered better. Lots of food for the price, fast service. Everything was tasty and fresh. I tried the cheese steak flautas dish, and it was great! I will definitely go back!

The Tijuana Flats in River City Florida delivered one of the greatest customer service experiences of my life. We had never been to a Tijuana Flats before and didn't know what to expect. We had been busy all day so we arrived at 8:44 pm. They close at 9:00 on Sundays so I was hesitant about whether or not we would upset the staff. The experience was the complete opposite.
I poked my head inside the door and the floors had just been mopped by a hard-working young woman, Amari, so I didn't want to dirty them. Steve, the manager, said "Welcome in!" I asked it they were closing and he said "Aww, don't worry about that! Come on over and lets get your order submitted." After that, he continued to show enthusiasm for his role and delivered the best customer service I've ever received.
The food was better than I expected. The shrimp, beef, and chicken were all so fresh. The salsa, queso, and guac were divine. Amari made sure our drinks stayed full.
Finally, while we were there, a couple of former employees came to visit. They greeted Steve with admiration and love. I could tell that he's the kind of manager who puts the customers and employees before himself. He is EXCEPTIONAL and it shows in the timely manner of food prep and quality of food.
Do you love hot sauce? Do you love unlimited amounts of hot sauce? Do you love a large variety of hot sauce? Do you now think Tijuana flats is a hot sauce store? Get this! It's a taco and burrito joint! It's amazing! Great tacos. Upgrade on chipotle that chips are included! Go crazy. Unlimited hot sauces to try and chips included!!!!
I got one of the bowls it did not seem like a.lot of food, but it filled me up and I still had a little bit left. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious.
