Thanks to Dunkin Donuts for discontinuing their coconut donuts!! Because I am now a fan of this place!! Wouldn’t eat a donut from no where else!! Best -hands down place when I cheat on my diet!! My guilty pleasure.
This is hands down the best donuts in town... I love the Uglies and I recommend getting here early to get the best.
Best donut shop in Jacksonville! I love that it’s always fresh and not too heavy on toppings or sweetness. It’s just the right amount of ingredients. Make sure to bring cash. They’re cash only but do have an atm for your convenience. One dozen is $12.50.
This is my second time going to the donut shoppe. Both times I've been the store is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I called twice and both employees I spoke too were wonderful. The donuts are delicious and they are sprinkle heaven which I love.
These are the one of best donuts in the city. It's a cash only establishment. If you are familiar with Tim Horton doughnuts, they're similar in style. Yeast donuts. Nothing like funkin out Krispy Kreme. I can't even go back there after having donut shoppe. I could eat these everyday.
Finally made it to The Donut Shoppe. Fast and friendly service. A dozen of donuts is 13.50, they only accept cash. The glaze donut is fried to perfection. Not overly sweet...just right. I will definitely be back.

Greeted by a very friendly young man who I told all about growing up on his donuts. He was pleased and conversing politely ~not bored or looking at his phone! He advised me on selections and thanked me kindly for coming in. This is a cash only store and you DO need to arrive early. The quality is beyond compare!! Apple chunks in the fritters were huge! Cinnamon swirls to die for and real chocolate icing rather than a sugary coating facsimile . Soooo worth getting up early for!! I heard that they are starting to take some out on coffee food trucks now! Since I live in St.Augustine, that drive is not one I can do every day. Highly recommended
I finally got to try the infamous Donut Shoppe. I woke up early enough and had cash. I got there around 8:30ish on a Saturday in June. There was a line of around 5 ppl in front of me. It went quick. I was a little disappointed because I got false info that they had long Johns with the white cream filling. They only have Bavarian.
So I got 3 (I think yeast) donuts w/choc icing & sprinkles and 3 glazed. They were amazing. Even with the line I was in and out in 3 mins! Super nice employees!

Absolutely the best glazed donuts in town. Very light compared to any place else. Good layer of icing with a very slight hint of orange - it really worked! I also tried the blueberry and strawberry cake donuts. They were 50% lighter than anything I’ve had before. Flavors were perfect and really nice. They sell out fast - go early. I missed the apple fritters, but the photos look great. I’m going back for that for sure!!!
Note: cash only! There is an ATM, but it’s used a lot. Bring cash.
Limited supply that goes fast, but it's extremely good quality and tasting. Before noon they only had 2 out approximately 20, and in the time I ate my purchase, they sold out. At least their claim to quality is confirmed!
