My mom had the sausage biscuit breakfast and I had the special buttermilk chicken and stuffing waffle with sausage gravy. Both dishes were stellar as always!

10/10 recommend on the holiday feast!!! I had to work a 12 hour shift today so I had Metro help me out with my family's Thanksgiving dinner. Holy Moly so good! Imma be doing this every year. The mac & cheese in the picture I made, Holmes seasoned green beans from a can all I did was heat up, got extra rolls cause my kids like it. The rest came from metro, the Mexican street corn is amazing. Everything has great flavor. The cranberry sauce is exceptional. My kids cleaned their plates!

Chicken and Waffle is a must have at Metro.. Dipping the chicken in hot sauce with syrup changes all the taste buds in your mouth to crave for more. You have to try this at lease once.. :)

We came back! However, we all ordered something different. I had the croissant French toast with blueberries. It was light and flaky with just the right amount of powdered sugar. We started with the avocado toast with bacon and red onion. Which was not disappointing.
He had the chicken and waffles. They were served with a hot sauce syrup, and strawberry butter. The chicken was hot, crispy and juicy. The waffle was a malted waffle, which we always love. Our waitress was efficient, polite, and professional.
The atmosphere was all a buzz as it was a Sunday morning. No complaints from our crowd, thanks again for your service.

PURE 💯% DELICIOUSNESS! Everything, including my waiter and atmosphere was great! I was reminded just how good Metro Diner is. I'm so glad I visited and I'll be back, more sooner than later!

Every time we go, we get good services. I try something different each visit. The only thing I didn't like was chix n Waffle. My chix was dry, but the waffles were light n fluffy.

The perfect breakfast spot. I’m sure lunch is great too! From the minute we walked in, service was absolutely wonderful. Jamey was super attentive and helpful, she made our first time coming in that much more enjoyable. Their coffee flavor of the day was so good! I was a little hesitant at first but she reassured me that she’d be able to switch it right out if I didn’t enjoy it. Even with how busy she was, she didn’t pressure us one bit- just wanted us to fully enjoy our experience. Their carrot cake pancakes were amazing- perfect flavors and texture. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, looking forward to coming back soon and trying more!

Our server Ms.Kate was super nice and caring to us early in the morning. She was on top of all our drinks and making sure we were satisfied all throughout our meal.

The pancakes were nice and Fluffy, and the hash browns were nice crispy and brown. Will definitely be returning.

I personally love this Metro Diner. Our waitress was so nice and so was every other employee in there that we had an interaction with. They were quite busy, almost every table was full and they were still in great spirits and friendly. The service was fast as well. I will absolutely be coming back!!

Amazing lunch. We love metro diner. Me and my fiance stopped in and finally got the fried chicken and the iron city meatloaf. Honestly, the meatloaf blew me away. And I'm not a meatloaf person. And my fiance loved the fried chicken so much he ate it all before he even touched his sides. We even asked who the cook was, and we found out out was Josh. Kudos to Josh for amazing skills in the kitchen. And Nancy, our waitress, was super awesome. She was sweet and very attentive. Even made us laugh by taking selfies with us because we take too long to order. And of course, she kept the coffee coming strong and hot, which is my favorite diner coffee. Would visit again, especially if Nancy and Josh are helping us. Thanks guys!

Authentic diner experience. Food was outrageous and service, excellent. Have been back several times and chose new dishes each time. Pancakes, 5 stars. Cajun chicken Pasta was very tasty. BLT was wonderful. Anything you order will be better than expected. Guaranteed.

We had a wonderful experience at Metro Diner today. We had Ruby as our waitress and Jules in the kitchen and could not ask for better service. Ruby was prompt taking the order and checking on us throughout our meal. She was very friendly and one that you can tell she enjoys her job and interacts well with customers.

Stopped in for a late breakfast before Jags game. I had the hamburger bowl which I only knew about because it was called out for a to-go order. It was not on the menu so now I have a secret gem for Metro when I order. It was a bullets burger with all the toppings and fries in a bowl. Very tasty. My companion had the avocado toast was not impressed. There may have been copious amounts of lime in the avocado. The hamburger bowl was great.

Long lines waiting outside were accurately timed and fast for as busy as they were. Clean rest rooms = clean kitchen. Our meals were fantastic: Western omelet loaded with fresh veggies and chunks of smoked ham. Best I’ve ever had anywhere; Eggs Benny were made perfectly; Crispy yet tender hash browns; Cheesy grits. Belgian waffle for our table as dessert. Our pro server (Jamey) was the icing on the cake. 5 shining stars!

So far I have eaten in and tried take out. Both have been awesome in terms of food and service. Really like their pancakes and that they gave me everything I could want or need in my take out bag.

I was eager to try this place since Guy Fieri had been there but I should have gotten the chicken and waffles my coworker got! It came with strawberry butter and maple syrup mixed with hot sauce! I had blackened Mahi that was thick and rectangular so putting it on a round bun didn't help. Service was excellent despite the fact that the waitress dropped a syrup fork in my lap!

A Jacksonville institution! Since they have expanded, the wait is minimal and the service quick. The manager also came to check on us several times. Both the chicken and waffles and the Yo Hallah are delicious. Portions are large enough for two or leftovers for the next day.

The food is always fast and delicious. I love the options the menu provides. There is always a new special on the menu, offering inventive takes on breakfast classics. Definitely worth the wait!<br/><br/>I enjoy sitting close to the kitchen. The kitchen manager does a fantastic job of commanding the kitchen team in an upbeat and happy manner. <br/><br/>I made the mistake from straying from my usual today...although the apple yo challah is tasty for a bite or two, it is so sweet it made me sick.

Ordered a burger medium rare, it came out raw. They offered to recook it after everyone else was done eating. The waitress had to explain that the manager had more important things to deal with. When he finally came out he blamed us for the raw burger, and said he'd take care of it "this time."

Finally in my Neighborhood!. Three words: Chicken and Waffles. Soooo good! I only get to go on the weekends, because they are only open for breakfast and lunch, and there is always a wait, but that's just testament to the awesomeness of this place. So glad they opened a location in my neighborhood!

Huckleberry Rules!. We eat here often and love it! We have dietary allergies and they accommodate without hesitation! The food is amazing, and service is quick. We sat at the counter today and had the joy of watching Huckleberry call out and keep everything rolling on such a positive, high energy note! Customer service is impeccable!

Great breakfast!. I had a late breakfast here, corned beef hash, poached eggs and dry toast, my friend had biscuits and gravy. Tons of food, quick friendly service, awesome selection! This place is fantastic!

Awesome Breakfast!. Jacksonville is blessed with many good places for breakfast. This restaurant deserves a place at the top of that list. The menu is creative, the food is plentiful and very well prepared. The service is attentive and friendly. Be prepared to wait in line if you show up after 9:00 am though. This place is popular!

Undercover Lips. Great Bfast food.. the only thing I don't like is the togo cup for my coffee, the lid is not as classy as the food they serve, I wish they can change it to something like what dunkin donut uses.

Tried Chicken and Waffles for my first time and it was awesome. My Husband order an omelete that could have used a bit more flavor, but we will go back here again. Did not feel like the wait, so we sat at the counter to watch all the kitchen action. Be sure not to show ip starving, since wait time was at least 20-30 minutes.

Breakfast. There was a lot of hype about the food so my wife and I went for breakfast. We got some featured foods and it did not measure up. We frequent a lot of different restaurants and found that there was nothing special about Metro Dinner (Westside Location). It's not worth the wait time to get in or the price we paid.

Best burger in Jax. I moved to Jacksonville over the summer and have been on a quest to find a decent burger. Every place I have tried has been a disappointment until now. I went to the Metro Diner and had the breakfast burger which was a burger topped with hash browns, bacon, fried egg, and hollandaise and it was awesome. The burger itself was seasoned and cooked well and throw all that other stuff on it and it was great. Great services, good prices too. Can't wait to go back and explore the menu more.

Best Metro Dinner. The food was outstanding! The service was awesome! I was very impressed with the staff ! Everyone was so friendly unlike the Metro diner in San Marco. I will definitely be back to the Roosevelt location! This Metro gives you a perfect amount of food too! My friend got the pot roast and it was so outstanding! I got breakfast and it was wonderful! Highly recommend this Metro! It's popular, so there might be a wait, but not very long at all!

Needs a little refining to get the bugs worked out, had to sit outside although tables were empty inside on a windy day. Our table was serviced while tables on each side of us were ahead of us and they sneared and commented on our orders came out ahead of theirs. Food was flavorful and nice size. Probably be back but need to avoid lunch rush.
