After an exhaustive week of online holiday shopping, we decided it was time to treat ourselves to a special meal, plus adult beverages is how we ended up at Marker 32. A long time beach favorite, outstanding views, lively bar scene, creative food offerings plus efficient and friendly service keeps us coming back. We have never been disappointed when dining here. Tonight was no different
My wife and our eleven year old daughter went to Marker 32 for an anniversary dinner. The food was great, the service was excellent! The only thing I can add would have been for quite booths as we wanted a romantic atmosphere. Overall a nice experience.
Great food and view. Tends to get a bit noisey as the night goes on. Great for a special occasion or nice date night.
Good If You Have The Time. We had an early reservation and were promptly seated when we arrived. The bread was good and there was such a variety: spinach bread, baguette etc. My hubby had the grilled salmon and substituted oven potatoes for the orzo without any problems. The firm salmon was a large portion, had a mild taste and was grilled to his liking. The potatoes and the spinach were unremarkable as they okay but were basically plain. Instead of a traditional entrée there were several appetizers that I wanted to try, so I ordered two and a salad. The fried green tomatoes were awesome as they were slightly tart and coupled with cheese and bacon. The bruschetta was tasty but the olive tapenade was skimpy and the baguettes were very thin and overly toasted so they were very fragile and did not hold the toppings very well. The house mixed green salad was okay as I loved the peanuts, raisins and vinaigrette but the salad mix was not to my liking. The bread pudding with ice cream was the perfect ending to our meal. It was delicious and was ample enough for two people. Our service was great as we never had an empty glass and our server was very attentive and polite. The only downside to our experience was the time involved. It was pushing 50 minutes for our meals to come out once we ordered, and then it took a good 15-20 minutes for our dessert to arrive. Overall, it took us two hours from start to finish which seemed like a long time for our uncomplicated meals. Plus I am so glad we went early because later in the evening the restaurant got very loud, maybe because the seats are so close together, and it was very difficult to carry on a conversation.
Amazeballs!!! Chef Trey did an outstanding job! Will come back again and again!
Marker 32, soft spot in my heart. Great service always. Beautiful view especially at sunset. Lighting does get too dim. ALWAYS order the shrimp, scallops and grits plate, can't ever steer away no matter what's on the menu. I lovvvvve their Rockefeller oysters, and their bread. My date years ago said that it was the best steak he had anywhere ever (and he eats at Capital Grille and other upscale restaurants). Love this place.
Good, most of the time. A little over priced, but good. I can say this, they do big parties well. It is very noisy. A bit crowded at times. Food is very good, excellent portions and views. We did a couple networking events there and they served us very well. Fun will go back. I give it 3.8/5.
Went on our 20 anniversary the service was great, the food was good will be going back the next time I'm in town
This place was the bomb. Great apps, entrees, desserts, and pretty much everything. The oysters rockefeller were the best I ever had. You can tell the chefs focus on culinary instinct and know what they are doing. Its a must if your in Jacksonville.
Favorite place to take the wife! Seafood is excellent. Ask for any disc with the special amoretto sauce
Food was amazing! Wine was great and the staff was friendly. We walked in and were seated next to a large party that was very loud. I think the acoustics in the restaurant aren’t ideal because it was extremely loud. Also I thought that it was funny that a fine dining restaurant has a tv playing sports ball mounted on the wall 😅.
Never had better broiled oysters in my life. Apparently, they've been on the menu over 30 years, and it is easy to understand why. Delectable, rich flavor and worth showing up for even if I hadn't eaten anything else that night. Don't cheat yourself. Treat yourself to these oysters! You will not regret it.
I started with their special, tortilla soup, which came out looking like a chili but tasting full of heart. It was an unexpected look with an expected taste of the southwest. Tiny little strips of tortilla were in every bite and the spices were a perfect tortilla soup blend.
I enjoyed a scallop dinner over grits. It was incredible. The grits were so creamy and so flavorful, while the scallops were seared perfectly.
Service was attentive. They were slammed but handled it well, never leaving our glasses empty. They had a center bar and a classy fish camp feel. I actually enjoyed all the antique furniture in the corner spots. They were unique pieces and added to the old styling of the building itself.
Overall loved it. Can't wait to return.
Enjoyed an amazing dinner for 4 at Marker 32. We had a beautiful view of the Intracoastal Waterway and watched the sunset. Service, food and atmosphere were all 5 stars. They even have valet parking.
Dinner with a view; plus every course is delicious. Filet and M32 Broiled oysters are our go to menu choices. My third time visiting and every time no matter what we’ve ordered the food is cooked and seasoned perfectly. First time trying the duck and it was excellent. Service is impeccable too. Not pictured: kids fish and fries (Also really good). Desserts were both equally outstanding.
I celebrated my 36 birthday at Marker 32 and everything was great. Our server was amazing from start to finish. The crab cakes were amazing!

We found a place cozy. We ordered scallops and duck. Duck was good, but scallops were too salty. The service was great. Overall, it's good but not great.
My Uber driver recommended this spot. Upscaled place with very reasonable pricing, great drinks and fantastic food.
I had the fish special(pictured) and the soup of the day. Both were excellent, the fish was so good I didn't want to take another drink so that I could savor the taste as long as possible.
Low key, not too noisy, able to have a conversation and visit while taking in the natural surroundings from the large windows. Friendly and competent servers, non obtrusive. Really enjoyed our cocktails, starters and entrees. A very enjoyable night out and great food. I will return here to try more of the menu-and look forward to it.
Best food ever. The atmosphere is awesome for a date night. The staff is so professional and friendly. Food is so fresh and tastes special. The seasoning is automatic and luscious. We had the good experience here. Those are worth the money.
Exceptional food and service! Kent was attentive, made wonderful recommendations, and was a huge part of creating a great first visit. Everyone in the party enjoyed the food, wine, and cocktails.
