Four Mile Bakery & General Store

I haven't lived in south central Ohio for a long time, but visit Four Mile Bakery nearly every time I visit Ohio. While the doughnuts are amazing, they also offer a delicious variety of other foods as well as other items. My coworkers are delighted when I bring back doughnuts to share. I also have shared the pumpkin roll to rave reviews. I can't promise that I always share some of the other items I procure from Four Mile Bakery. The Amish cheeses are tasty and some flavored are difficult to find elsewhere. The blueberry instant oatmeal in the bulk aisle is perfect for a quick breakfast and I buy enough to keep in my office desk for the winter. Plus, it doesn't have the additives found in national brands which trigger allergic reactions in some people. A lovely basket from the shop has held my cloth napkins for over five years. The jarred goods offer an appealing range of old fashioned foods. The pickled beets are good and I may finally try pickled eggs on my next trip. Don't forget to get a small come of ice cream. It reminds me of the small shop I visited with my grandma as a child. The staff are always friendly and my niece loves to see which animals are in the field near the store.
