this is in no means a safe area. but the prices are great and the cashier lady was very friendly and genuinely seemed to care about where I was going and what I was doing. They also have some of the best Kool Aid Pickles you will find in Mississippi.

The order was ready upon arrival. It was hit and fresh. The cashier was very friendly as well as the person that I spoke with on the phone. Ellis seafood never lets me down.

Ellis Seafood is a Jackson Mississippi classic! If you are looking for delicious catfish or seafood look no more. They have several locations. But the Woodrow Wilson location is my favorite. The staff is friendly. There is usually a line wrapped around the store. But it's worth the short wait because the food is made to order so it's always hot and fresh. The prices are reasonable and the food portions are a good size.

The food is delicious, and the serving sizes are great!!! The prices are reasonable and the service is A+!!! I gave it a 4 because they only take cash. And it's hard to remember I can't use my card there. Which means having to run to the bank and come back. Other than that, I love Ellis Seafood!!!!

1 star ⭐️ for great personality that’s it !!! Other than that, I’m not for sure why did some people give this place 5 stars or even 4... However, I can only speak about my experience. The food was horrible, it appeared to be cooked a very long while ago and just reheated... I wouldn’t have given it to my dog honestly... I thought it was just me, but the kids complained even worse... Their ages are 10, 8, 6, 5 and 2... I ordered shrimp fried rice and fish for everyone and everything tasted old and bad.... If I would have known this, I would have just cooked at home... I only went to this location because Meadowbrook location closes early now and my babies really wanted Ellis.. Please don’t waste your money here because it’s a chance the same can happen to u too. I went on a Thursday night around 7:15. The meadowbrook location is awesome however.. Also this location only takes cash and this is another downside. Also, the fries wasn’t done... The only thing that tasted ok was the hush puppies sadly... Never again, this location is not in a safe area anyways.... This is the first time I’ve been here in a very long time, but never again... If I wasn’t so tired, I would have gotten a full refund... They also never answer their phones. SMH I WILL NEVER RETURN, not even if they were giving it away free ...

It's a nice rendition of a seafood plate. It's not that bad for the amount you pay. A lot of ppl eat their crab legs and I'm not found of them but for the cost like it said it isn't much to complain about. I may go back to get the popcorn shrimp.

Well..even though this place doesn't opens till 11am, drive thru works perfectly. The food is awesome! I highly recommend this restaurant.
