What is good: the quality of the food, the selections of salad fixings, the dessert selection. What is not quite there are the portions served, especially by newer counter servers, lack of salsa (it goes too fast), the lack of prepared fish (not everyone eats fried catfish). Now what needs to improve. The servers should get better, the portions need to be more meal sized, and they need to have at least some baked fish ready. I know in the past it seemed they wasted too much food. Possibly so, but the portions were better. The counter staff need to be made more aware of the offerings and whatever specials they might have later in the day or the week. And they need be more observant to notice something like lack of tarter sauce, lack of lemon for the tea, or low ice. The staff are friendly enough, but they are young and don't realize that a good staff, from cooks to servers to cleanup, are usually remembered by customers who have many other food options to pick from. I will continue to eat there since i enjoy the fish when it is available, and their chicken fried chicken is very large and very tender (well cooked too) and only hope that management will take my suggestions to heart.

This place was the Bomb! When do we say that about a cafeteria restaurant? Now I do-- Every staff person was friendly & Very interested in making sure we were having a good meal. Quick tea refills, manager coming by to check on us. And such a large, clean dining area! And..... Our food was delicious , warm & I'm already planning to stop here on our return home!

So on multiple visits the food has been seasoned well and tastes great. On all of our visits, our waitress Denise, has been a gem. Anyone can give good food but good service always outshines the rest. I travel a lot and have been to restaurants worldwide. I always remember the dishes I ate but the staff is what makes me come back. She is the reason this restaurant earned that fifth star.

I've been there during the week and the food was always good and I experienced great service, but I will never go back on a Sunday afternoon. The service was horrible. They really need busboys and better management. Plates and dishes were stacked on everyone's table and people had to clear some of the tables on their own. My fried chicken wasn't fully cooked and we had to wait forever for our drinks.

Best food I have ever eaten. It gives a different meaning to all you can eat. You go through the line to get your first meal and after that your server brings you whatever else you want. By this restaurant not letting everyone reach over the food and fix their own plate is a plus for me 😊I will be going back tomorrow.
