Ordered 2 keelboat filet plates for takeout. When I got them home found both were whole catfish which I don't care for. Called the restaurant and was told the kitchen doesn't usually make mistakes, "sorry for the mix-up". No offer to replace or give any compensation. Been going there for years and was very disappointed.

Greens, corn bread and fish was great, cole slaw was dry. Overall they are good just a lil slow on service. But worth the wait.

It was a nice, cozy place for me and my wife to eat before going to the movies. Didn't want the cornbread at first but when I tasted it, I ate it all lol

It was delicious! I loved the cast iron skillet corn bread green. Pickled onions, Cole slaw! Delicious. Cat fish was great, but serving size was small or maybe I was being greedy. YOU WILL LEAVE WITH A FULL BELLY. This the closest you get to a southern memaw kitchen. It also comes with fries and hush puppies and a great staff to serve you.
Banana Whopper
My takeout Keelboat Special was crammed full with lots of catfish filets along with tons of french fries plus 2 hush puppies AND a 6 inch skillet of cornbread! Also included a side of coleslaw. Plenty enough to split between 2 people. Very good too. Cost was $18.14 including tax but no drink. Not a bad deal at all!
