The food was amazing! The chicken was well seasoned and crispy and the fried okra was the same! The wait was a little long but well worth it IMO. Highly suggest this to others!

The food is good and home cooked. A little limited on the menu items but they do and few things and they do them REALLY good. 10/10 recommend giving it a shot

I have nothing but greatness to say about this place. I pick this place to eat when I came down to visit some family....I’m not from Jackson btw.... and I got the sample patter.... and OMGGGG it was soooo soooo soooo GOOD, super fresh, the portion size was amazing. You can tell they don’t cook the fish and chicken in the same oil.... alllll of it was so good. If you are in JACKSON MISSISSIPPI, this is a must go tooooo.... I will make sure everytime I’m in town I’m going here

Put in my order 10 minutes out for some chicken and waffles. When I got there my order was hot and ready! Chicken was nice and crispy, fried perfectly, not one dry wing. Batter was golden brown, it was almost too pretty to eat. Chicken didn't have way too much seasoning, which paired really well with the waffle. The syrup wasn't overly sweet, the balance in flavors were great, not one thing was fighting for the spotlight, they all wanted to be in the group play together haha. I like my waffles a little bit more crispy on the outside, I'll request that next time. Now, that breakfast biscuit took my breath away, she's a sexy little thing...
Good, fast service. Clean place with lots of seatings indoor and outdoor patio. We weren't sure if we had to pay for meter parking. That buster meter ate my quarter so quick!...at least you know, you don't have to donate your money to that buster stealing meter.

The 4.5+ rating is deceiving unfortunately. Our food was made to order, but the chicken on the biscuit tasted like a frozen patty that had been heated in the microwave, and the waffle is exactly the kind you get at a cheap cafeteria, bland, tough and disappointing. The chicken tenders with my waffle were tasty, but unfortunately not quite enough to counter the lackluster waffle. For as much as they charge for their food, it should taste freshly mixed and made, not freshly pulled from the freezer.

Had the pleasure of eating lunch from here. When I say the food is absolutely incredible. The flavors and taste was fresh and amazing. The kool -aid is in a star class all by itself. The owner was so nice☺️ I give this place more than 5+ stars!!!
