Took my partner out for a birthday dinner.
Everything was absolutely delicious from the Zero proof cocktail with lemon and cardamom to the homemade pasta and beignets.
Service was also excellent and attentive.
Wonderful experience all around.

One of the top 5 meals I've ever had, and definitely the hands down best restaurant in NH. There is really no comparison. The food is fresh, local, and prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable. The staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable.
Edit: I can now say the T.H.E is the best restaurant in New England, and it's not an exaggeration. You will not find a more creative or fresh menu anywhere else.

One of the best meals and experiences we've had. Big group of 14 made the trek up to the White Mountains and wouldn't change a thing. Great cocktails, beautifully prepared meal, incredible cooking, amazing service, wonderful atmosphere. She Crab Soup and Icelandic Salmon were to die for. We will be back again and again! A treasure!

Amazing food, amazing service, very friendly owners. This is a small family owned restaurant with amazing food, and you absolutely get what you pay for.
I will be beck next time I am in the area!

I really don't know what all the bad reviews were talking about. We went 10/15, everything was amazing and we left stuffed. The cheese board and the fried green tomatoes were delicious. My sister had the pasta and I had the chicken, both cooked perfectly with savory seasonings. We finished with the beignets and ice cream and they were both out of this world. Yes there was an extra fee at the end to support the farms and wage equality AS THERE SHOULD BE IN THIS ECONOMY. Anyone lashing out at this place for supporting its employees and the farms that grow their food should be ashamed of themselves. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We had a great time and tipped on top of the already added gratuity, for those of you complaining about the automatic 20% added to the check. Our servers and bartenders definitely deserved it. Thank you to the owners and all the kitchen staff and the servers/bartenders! Great job.

Excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. Food was good, but not amazing. (Except the beignets....those were amazing).

The food is delicious. While the servers were kind, I felt the whole experience was pretentious. We have been to some pretty amazing farm to table restaurants with beautiful food and they typically are so down to earth. We didn't find that here.

Wow!!! What a gem close to Mount Washington and a great REWARD after a strenuous day at the mountain!!! A must stop but don’t forget to book ahead, it’s a pretty busy place. Food and drinks where delicious but a bit on the expensive side.

This is in the top 5 best meals of my life! Everything about our dining experience was exceptional. The ambiance, the staff and most especially the food! Definitely the best salmon I have every had! I loved the mocktail(can't remember the name), the pumpkin squash risotto was a taste sensation. You must try this place, make reservations!

Thompson House and Chef Jeff Fournier catered a family party and I could not be more pleased with the food and consideration shown by Jeff and Kiah throughout the process. Creative, local, healthy and superbly delicious food was enjoyed by all! Thank you for helping my family celebrate!

After eating at "regular" family style restaurants all week in North Conway we found this place Yelp and we had to try it. Our waiter Tom was awesome! Very attentive. The food? All fresh, almost all home made, and almost everything from the farm on site. Overall, one of the best dinners I've ever had and that's saying a lot. As we are foodies. Just incredible. I would take a day trip up here just to come back to this place.

We've been to Thompson House Eatery four times since they reopened with a new owner/chef. Jeff is keeping up the tradition of excellence that Larry started. Every entre, appetizer or dessert that we've ordered has been outstanding. It's difficult to state a favorite as the menu changes frequently, but if lasagna is on the menu on comfort food Thursday, don't miss it! If you like steak, that's another can't miss choice. The waitstaff is friendly and professional, able to answer your questions and tell you in detail about every item on the menu. There's an extensive beer and wine list, too. From Leslie and Kate when you arrive, Paul or whoever else might be the bartender, and Phil who was there to help Janice's mom negotiate the stairs, it was like being at home. If you haven't been there yet, get to THE for the best culinary experience in the valley!

My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary there for a wonderful dinner. The service was fantastic. Kevin was super friendly and also very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. The food was spectacular. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Been to many good restaurants but this was best I've ever been to. The owners are awesome. The staff was great. We had the ribeye and the special (lamb)- it was the. Way dinner I've ever had. We were there for our 14th anniversary- outstanding experience. All Farm to table, locally sourced food. Can't say enough good things about this place

I went here for my birthday. Was absolutely great!! Warm friendly and clean place.
Wasn't crowded when we went. As it was not vacation week. That's when we go out. Was able to sit right down.
Food was beyond delicious. Was mouth watering. The food was placed artsy on the plates. The staff was excellent. They where very friendly, from the cooks, waiter, hostess. We ordered the shrimp, ceaser salads and steak and a couple desserts to go. It came with some bread. You could tell everything was made to order. Very fresh.
They sat everyone spaced out didn't try to cram a few people in a small room.
I would like to thank the whole staff for such a wonderful birthday dinner. We will be back soon.

Another outstanding evening of incredible exquisite food. The steak melts in your mouth, the vegetables are unbelievable and I will never look at watermelon the same way. That was an incredible way to prepare a summer treat. Spectacular. If you haven’t been to T.H.E yet, you haven’t experienced elegant food.

From the second we walked in, we were welcomed like we were old friends. The menu may be small, but it is mighty! Loved our cozy high top by the wood stove, yummy cocktails, and meals that filled us up. Oh, and the tiramisu rocked. I’m definitely headed back! Thanks for a great night!

2nd time eating dinner here. Food was amazing ( mushroom risotto and Bolognese) our server ( Alissa) was knowledgeable and efficient. This restaurant serves the best food in the area. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!!

Our family celebrated a fabulous rehearsal dinner at the Thompson House Eatery this September.
The chef prepared a spectacular 5 course tasting menu paired with wine for our group of 22 people. The restaurant’s elegant rustic atmosphere was a stunning backdrop to this delicious dinner.
The owners and staff were excellent to work with and the service was exemplary.

The food here is amazing. Fresh, unique, and artfully prepared. We had a wonderful dinner here after a long day at nearby StoryLand. The service was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, and we had a lovely meal. The flavors were so bright and vivid, with layers of complexity to add distinction to otherwise simple combinations.
As a small caveat to parents/families, this is not a chain restaurant with the typical "kid menu." We worked with the server/chef and they were able to make small modifications and provide kid-friendly options, but do be aware that this may not be the ideal restaurant for fussy eaters. That said, our band of kiddos had rave reviews for the food after some initial hesitation. (We choose this restaurant based on a Yelp listing that tagged this restaurant as kid-friendly. I'd say it's kid/family accommodating.) Kids even had a blast exploring outside and getting to know the barn cat, Miles.
Overall, a great dining experience in a lovely location. We'll be back for sure!

How lucky is a the tiny town of Jackson to have these fine folks here. Kate, Jeffrey and their entire staff are delightful. From the moment you walk in the door you feel like you are coming home to friends. Their cocktails are playful and delicious and if that isn't your think the beer and wine choices are outstanding. The food is creative, locally sourced as much as possible, beautifully presented and a treat to you palette in every bite. From the homemade dips and butter that accompany the bread course to the fresh herbs garnishing the mains - all of the details are considered. It also feels important to mention the sense of community that this team creates - from locally sourced ingredients and hosting local fundraising events to working cooperatively with the new bakery (Autumn Nomad) to provide some of the deserts. Go now, you will be so happy you did.

Was happy to be greeted by Kate, the new owner and Leslie, the former owner. The rooms are bright and cheerful and can't wait to see the adjacent deck open in warmer temps, with the lilacs in bloom. The Waitstaff are exceptional. There is an extensive wine list at reasonable prices. Hoping you will consider bringing back the muffin tins filled with optional toppings for salad as well as Comfort Food Thursdays. Both of our favorites. One suggestion: add an indicator on the menu showing foods with "heat". You do have creative menu options though. See you soon!

The Thompson House arguably is the finest restaurant in the Mt. Washington Valley. The newly updated interior is warm and inviting, service outstanding, and a diverse and ever changing menu will inspire all who dine there. T.H.E. is a gem.
