Review Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse - Jackson

I'd rate higher than 5 stars if I could!! Service was absolutely awesome and the food was delish!! Engaging staff, I'll definitely be back! Started with Grilled Lamb Lollipops, so good! Had the Elk Tenderloin with the Crab Cake Oscar. So tender and it was amazing!! Again, the service was top notch!!

First night in Jackson and decided to try this place. Our server Paulina was friendly, informative and attentive. We skipped the starters but a nearby table ordered the wedge salad and it looked great. We ordered the rib eye, bison, and chicken with mushrooms and green beans as sides. Note: they do not have a kids menu but have burger, mac and cheese, and chicken as items kids may like so that’s why we got the chicken. Of course my 9 yo decided he liked our bison and rib eye better. We also tried the warm brownie with peanut butter mascarpone 😋. Food was great but we especially appreciated the attentive service - water glasses were never less than half full, plates we cleared promptly. It was great and I would come back here.

Hidden in the basement of the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar you'll find one of the best steakhouses in Jackson. The place is sort of small, so I would recommend reservations. The food and service and some of the best you'll find.

Putting the PERFECTLY cooked (temp, flavor, crust, etc.) ribeye aside, the must-get here is the Elk Tenderloin. Imagine an amazingly juicy filet mignon with a salt and pepper crust and a berry sauce as a side. That’s the elk. It’s so completely juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. I was jealous I didn’t get it! Shout out to the spinach salad and the perfect combination of creamy goat cheese, walnut, and the vinaigrette It gets loud down there but if you can handle that, you’re in for such a great meal with a great service.

Steak was real good, baked (grilled) potato and green beans were great. Bartender was awesome. I only took a picture of the dessert. We tried, but turns out we're quitters. Just couldn't quite finish the brownie and ice cream, but it was delicious.

Went here for dinner after our wedding. We made a reservation and were seated immediately despite being a little early. Cold glasses of water were already on our table. Our server reviewed menu options and drinks with us. We ordered a cheese board and drinks and both were delicious and served quickly. I ordered the strip and my husband the ribeye with sides for the table of mashed potatoes, asparagus, and Mac and cheese. All the food was exceptional. Steaks were tender and cook perfectly. Mac & cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had(and we are from the south). We finished with the brownie, which was more than enough for all 4 in our party to share. Service was exceptional from everyone who came by our table. Our water and drinks were never empty. Our server and manager checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning!!!

The whole experience was fantastic! Upstairs is the bar and memorabilia. Watch a band in the evening. Downstairs is the steakhouse. Everything was delicious.

Truthfully this place is closer to a 4 star. However, due to a string of bad experiences at other high end steak houses I’m giving this one 5 stars. The good: Atmosphere Service Excellent! The Lamb Chop Lollipops? out of this world! Amazing. Room for improvement: The Steak is good but not great. I don’t think it’s Prime and no where do they claim it’s prime. The sauce and seasoning are good but it’s overly chewy. If it’s Choice it’s overpriced. I’d rather pay a little bit more and have a prime cut. The berry cobbler…. Is not berry cobbler. It’s jam. With whip cream. Make some real cobbler!

Super cool atmosphere at the downstairs bar and steakhouse. Bartenders were really nice and attentive although food took a while to come out and cocktails weren’t anything special. My steak was amazing but my partner got a larger steak and it came out way too rare. They offered to throw it back on the grill and it came out a bit better but still practically mooing in the center.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at this restaurant. Our family was seated quickly without reservations and served promptly. The food options were all delicious and so were the desserts. Also great to be able to walk upstairs to the bar.

What a nice surprise to find downstairs from the very popular and famous bar — a quiet, high-end steakhouse with a gorgeous, elegant bar and two great bartenders who make a mean Old Fashioned. We enjoyed the filet and trout very much, thank you! And thank you also to the manager for checking in to make sure everything was to our liking.

Location off the square can’t be beat and the upstairs bar/downstairs restaurant combination makes it a must see for tourists.

Most memorable experience our family has had in a long time! Walking down the stairs to the lower floor below the Cowboy Bar, seeing all the history listed in the pictures and coming to the glass doors at the end of the hallway to enter really set the tone, felt like we found a hidden gem and everyone in our group was smiling knowing we were in for a good time. The food was excellent, the decor has a warm modern rustic vibe with beautiful knotty wood pillars. The service was incredible, beginning to end, even with my wife stubbing her toe on the way out, the restaurant director came to the rescue, took such good care of her, and saved our evening. We felt spoiled the moment we walked in the door, THANK YOU! We will make a special trip to come back to Jackson Hole just to visit the Cowboy Steakhouse, definitely a destination location and new tradition for our family, highly recommend!
