Bubba's Bar-b-que Restaurant

Great BBQ and service! We were staying nearby and thought that BBQ sounded good. The gent serving us as such a great guy, and chatted with us several times during our meal. (I wish I could remember his name.) Actually, the entire staff seemed really nice and seemed to like what they were doing. So, that really adds to one’s experience. My wife doesn’t eat a lot. (That’s where I come in.) So we asked if we could share a 3 meet combo; and that was accommodated with a smile. We got the pulled chicken, Sloppy Bubba, ribs, baked potato and baked beans. Everything was great. Really good, solid BBQ. And we both really liked the Sloppy Bubba. So, if you want a great dining experience with great BBQ and excellent, friendly service, this is the place to go. I think we found our Go To spot in Jackson!

Somehow every time I visit Jackson in the winter I always find myself really having to search for a good meal. Most of the restaurants are so focused on the “luxury” market that people kind of forget about the eating portion of a meal. Bubbas is a great choice for any meal of the day. We visited for breakfast and enjoyed the Filipe’s Special (skillet with eggs, pulled pork, onions, verde sauce, etc) as well as the Ranch Hand (biscuits and gravy with pulled pork and a side of hash browns) I thought the gravy was a bit bland, but the biscuits were fluffy and plentiful. We visited for dinner and the BBQ was pretty good no matter where you are from. I had both pulled pork and brisket, and the wife had a Sloppy Bubba sandwich which was huge with both brisket and pulled pork. The servers were extremely kind and attentive both times we visited, and the place had an all around pleasant vibe. The bbq pit is out back smoking away with a months worth of applewood waiting to go to work. Give Bubbas a try while you’re in town.

A nice dining spot for BBQ. Their BBQ sauce isn't my favorite, but overall we enjoyed our meals. We had the BBQ chicken with mac n cheese and fried okra, the brisket sandwich with mac n cheese, and the sloppy brisket sandwich with fries. The only thing left at the end of the meal was some chicken and okra.

If I had to sum up our experience it would be one word, Campbell!! We were visiting from San Jose, Ca and starving. Besides the delicious food, the experience was super amplified by one of the managers, named Campbell. He was so great, very caring and attentive even with mad rush on a Sat night with short staff. Highly recommend the place for the food, Campbell is the cherry on top, thank you Campbell.

Had an awesome meal at Bubba's BBQ in Jackson while on vacation. Our waiter was super efficient, and the meals were REALLY good. And as usual, if you follow me you know that I reviewed the restroom facilities. I can report that at the mid-afternoon hour, both restrooms were clean and tidy. Good job, Bubba's!!!

Top notch service. We ended up getting eggs Benedict which was excellent, didn’t want two servings since I’m the only one who usually eats breakfast so decided to share. Waiter brought out our meal on two plates already split. Was very attentive and filled coffee several times, never had to wonder where he was bec he came over to check on us a few times. Great atmosphere, food, and service. Would recommend for breakfast!
