Came for lunch on our first day in town. We were seated right away and our service was good. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned but I didn’t care for the Fixed The Glitch, it sounded interesting but tasted thick (like syrup). Our food was good but quite pricey.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at a charming local restaurant in Jackson Hole. My husband had been eagerly anticipating trying Elk, and it exceeded his expectations. Every dish we ordered was a delightful culinary adventure, bursting with flavors that left us craving more. Had a very early dinner( around 5pm). Had a table right away. Cody was the server: super sweet, attentive, knowledgeable. Food came in right away and super delicious. Absolutely recommend this place. Trout was cooked to perfection. Also, the Wagyu Berger was one of the best.

Awesome little gem near Jackson Square. Steaks are perfect and melt in your mouth ,beer is ice cold and large bourbon selection. Key lime pie is on point.

It's not a bad option if you're in town!
We went for lunch and the place was empty however very busy at night. The place is pricey, but I love that it has good bison steak and meat options.
Service was okay. We sat at the bar and got decent care.
Price: It is not a cheap restaurant but the quality is good. You can go either for lunch and get better prices, or for dinner and get more fancy experience.
Menu has lots of variety. My friend is vegetarian and she got good options however she was not satisfied with taste. My steak was okay, I confess i was expecting more for the price, but either way, it's not a bad option.
Atmosphere: the place is big and looks super nice!

Steak frites: medium well as requested. Crispy fries. Moderate
Onion soup: unique shepherd pie style. Great taste.
Libations: carries both top shelf pours, local brews and imaginative mixes.

The food from appetizers to our steak entrées was delicious. We decided to get the chocolate budino for desert and would highly recommend it. Fairly large portions for prices, which is a huge plus. Mark provided excellent service and made the evening even more enjoyable.

This place is my absolute go to! Every single thing on the menu is good and all great quality food. It's very nice environment and great selection of menu items. It is small and space is a premium here, so you'll be very closely seated with other guests. I don't really see it as a downside, as you'll converse with many a locals and tourists alike. Great staff and wonderful service 👏

I'm a repeat customer and have never been disappointed. Oysters from Maine are always briny. Beef Tataki is an experience to be savoured. The bone marrow is sinfully good. The piece de resistance is the Key Lime pie with mascarpone.

5 star experience. Our hostess (Annie)welcomed us with the sweetest smile and dimples. The steaks, the adult libations and the service was superb. We had reservations. ANNA was the sweetest and most knowledgeable waitress. Everything she mentioned to order was superb.

Cocktails and dinner was awesome! Hanson was our waitress and she was very welcoming. We got the sampler- tomahawk, elk, bison, sausages, filet mignon, and sides. Everything was made just the way we like it. Couldn’t have asked for better service and food!

Came here for dinner while we were visiting the area. One of my friends ordered a Moscow Mule and it came in a tall glass - never had a mule in a glass, always in mug. Service was okay but for a steakhouse with a higher price point, it should be better than average.
Food:
-460 Focaccia: this was good and the bread was soft.
-14 oz Ribeye: we each ordered our ribeyes medium but got more of medium rare. Other than that, the ribeye was good.
-Truffles Mac n Cheese: lacked flavor, my least favorite side dish. Didn’t taste any truffles and was very dry, would not recommend.
-Crispy Brussels Sprouts: good and crispy
-Yukon Gold Gratin: lacked flavor as well

Great experience while enjoying a tasty dinner at the bar. Patrick was an excellent host / bartender. My Old Fashioned was top notch. They happened to have morel mushrooms that were out of this world good. We had the halibut and fingerling potatoes for dinner. Great spot to hang and visit for a few hours.

‘‘Twas My First Trip In Wyoming And To Close This Trip Wanted To Partake In Local Restaurant’s, This Was By Far The Most Delectable Place Here, I Ordered The New York Strip, Was Cooked Perfectly And Tasted as So, The Truffled Mac Was A Different Story, Some Of The Noodles Were Burnt. Wasn’t a Pleasant Side, For Dessert I Selected The Creme Brûlée It was Mediocre. Although the Service 10/10. Very Understanding and helpful

Stopped in here with the family today for a late lunch. I'm not sure how this place only has 4 stars. The food was great, the wings in particular are the very best wings I have ever had. Very subtle smoky flavor with another subtle kick from the buffalo sauce. They were also very crispy, which I really enjoy. We opted for the Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding for dessert. Again, it was fantastic. As others have said, the staff and service really help to set the overall experience apart from other restaurants. From the two hostesses to our waiter, Cody. He had great recommendations for whiskey and specific items on the menu for the rest of the family. The food was brought out in expected time so the kids didn't have to wait too long. I loved the set up of the bar area. It has a great modern / western feel to it, with a back wall of local spirits (as well as all the name brand stuff). Cody recommended a local brand, Wyoming Whiskey. I enjoyed it so much I went and bought a bottle from their shop around the corner. We will be back on next trip from NH to Jackson Hole!

Most excellent meal of our stay in Jackson hole Wyoming .. food is very pricey but the service was wonderful our waiter Cody did a fantastic job and took very good care of ... Best 22-oz rib-eye steak I've had this year along with the wives elk chops were fantastic

The food was good. The drinks service could have been better. I ordered a 3 beer sampler with one of the beers being a seasonal with the exact beer info listed on the menu. When it was brought out I was only given the menu info as to which was which. I had to get into view of the beer taps and figure out for myself which one the seasonal was. The Korean lettuce wrap I had to eat tasted good but there were not enough lettuce leave to accommodate the fillings on the plate.

Went for the Burger...excellent. The Shrimp Ceviche was a meal in itself, excellent flavor and presentation. The owner Will stopped by to chat. Nice guy. Also owns Trio. Tried that out next eve with a wood fired pizza. 5 stars also. And this stuff was from the low end of the menu. Definitely would go back !!

The "Steak Burger" was likely the best burger my wife and I have ever had. Order it mid-rare. It has the best meats in a burger form. Unprecedented juiciness. Good draught selection of regional brews, and even Rainier beer to make me feel at home (western Washington native). I'll make it a point to revisit the next time we are in Jackson.

I am from Ormond Beach Florida just north of Daytona Beach Florida and this is the first time I have visited this town and this restaurant. The food and service was excellent. The staff made you feel as though you were not just a customer, but family. I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep up what you are doing and I will be back soon. Thank you for the great meal.

Went here for New Years eve dinner with my daughters ...we ordered the 2 steak entrees that were supposed to be premium cuts. They were so tough that we could barely cut them with a steak knife...sent them back ... A little better the second time...but they were not premium cuts...my other daughter ordered the gnocchi dish that was so salty she couldn't eat it. The bill was $400 including the tip and we could have had a better meal at Outback. Maybe they should just focus on burgers. Would not eat here again.

We had our dinner following our wedding at Local in their private room. What an amazing night. Laken made sure everything was perfect. Chris our server was terrific as well. Food was beyond amazing. We had visited Jackson before but did not time there so we took a chance by having our wedding dinner there, but we were more than pleased! Thanks to all the staff for an amazing night!

What a difference from when we we're their a year ago! We drove 3 hours to Jackson hole to celebrate a birthday, a anniversary. All 5 in our party got the steak & frites it was before dinner. We asked for steak sauce and they said they only have it a dinner but would ask. They did bring some. One steak wasn't cooked as ordered so waiter took back to cook more and still wasn't correct. Never came back to ask if we needed drink refills! Very very disappointed.

Waitress didn’t get our order correctly. On top of that a glass of Diet Coke was $4.00 and a cup of soup was $10.00!! None of us were thrilled with the very expensive soup too. �

Best way to end our honeymoon!! We decided to dress up---way outside the normal tourist garb---and make a 5 star dinner date happen. Local didn't disappoint!! The food was amazing. Perfect, flavorful sears on the steaks and tasty sides. A delicious dessert and my husband was ecstatic to find Rip Van Winkle whiskey on the drink menu. We left stuffed with all the trimmings of a gourmet meal rivaling any big city. Thank you!!
