Spicy momos for cold winter days/nights, good service and easy to locate the restaurant in Jackson Heights
Cheap, quality food. I really enjoyed my food. But service here is not that good as a food
Is it me, or dies this place just keep getting better if that is even possible. Manchurian Chicken, Pan fried Momos. Delicious!
Great flavors for under $10. Small spot, might end up sharing a table. Be patient , they get busy but it’s worth the wait. The Beef and the veggie momo are what you want to order , can’t go wrong. Add the sauces , taste before adding, and boom ! Go here after smoking a fat blunt or some beers!
Amazing food
I was exploring the area and I found this place. Was my first time eating Tibetan food and I really liked it. We ordered fried rice it was delicious it had shrimps huge shrimps. I ate Gya-thug and OMG!!! I loved it.
This corner of Jackson Heights is Momo central and if you are ever in the neighborhood it is a must try. Momos are basically Tibetan version of dumplings. It usually comes steamed and sometimes fried. Here the popular option is fried. Either way they are good choices to try. There is the meat and veg plus plenty of noodle dishes. Be warned Tibetan food tends to be on the spicier side but they are usually good at asking when you order. Even just ask for non spicy period if you don't. The noodle dishes are usually very good. Hearty thick udon noodles like in a variety of broths. There is always basically momo soup.
Friends corner is definitely a friendly neighborhood eat with minimal fuss and no frills dining experience. Don't expect much in the way of decoration in this small tight restaurant. Service is friendly when ordering. Take your number and wait for it to be called as you watch other people eat.
They prepare vegan food! Not very spicy! It tastes really good. My favorite plates are Vegetable pan fried noodles,Tofu chili, allodoom and vegetable fried momo
Nice momos, nepali dumpling varieties from jhol momos to steam momos to fried momos to c-momos and even momo sizzler that I have not tried.
The meat is nicely spiced and the dough is a little thick to my liking.
One has 2 choices for sauce for steam momos (the red one is the spicy one)
Jhol momos comes thick soup, medium spicy and taste of roasted sesame and other ingredients. Typical Kathmandu gallis (narrow streets) shops serve same kind of momos but a water down version, so the thick soup was a plus.
C-momos, they are like chicken chill but momo instead of fried chicken, they never disappoint me here.
Best Mo:Mo. We had Chicken Chilly, Chicken Momo, Chicken Thenthug, Laphing and Hot Sour soup. Except Laphing, every food was so good. I live in MD but I am considering to visit Jackson Heights just for having the Momo. Definitely will go again !
This is the true hidden gem of Jackson Heights, if not the whole queens. Please continue your business as it is. It's such a friendly and delicious yet super affordable place. Can't express enough of my appreciation of this lovely restaurant.
