The first snow falls this year. The weather is cold. I miss warm soup. Such is the atmosphere of this cafe. A place that comes to mind when you want to warm up in cold weather. The friendly staff and simple but not neglectful food. This brunch cafe is highly recommended to those visiting Jackson Heights. I ordered the soup of the day and grilled cheese sandwich combo. A simple salad is also served. I was very satisfied with the mushroom-flavored soup and the cheese sandwich with tomatoes. But above all, let's not forget that the coffee is as delicious as the name of this cafe, right?

I enjoy the cool atmosphere , love the colors and the coffee is good . I’m glad they have a laptop policy since many coffee shops I’ve been to have people taking up seats for hours with no food no coffee and if I want to sit and have coffee and food I can’t because all the space is taken up by those who turn the coffee shop into their office . Thanks

Neighborhood cafe serving breakfast and an ok variety of other dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive and doesn't rush you. The owner seems to know a lot of the regulars and sits with them at times. Trio band plays on the weekend. One can buy the paintings adorning the walls. The cafe is very welcoming and solo guest friendly. There's also an outside covered area.

If I walk around this neighborhood, this is an always go coffee spot. It has a great atmosphere, a wide variety of coffee and food selection. They even serve wine. There's a big outdoor patio as well. The baristas are friendly and helpful. I ordered cappuccino at this time it was delicious, creamy and hot. They have free Wi-Fi, but unfortunately, there are no power outlets.

I always love stopping here when I'm in Jackson Heights. Great coffee and general vibes of the restaurant, and clean bathrooms too. There's music performances that somehow are the perfect volume to have a conversation. You can tell the owners go to a lot of trouble to build an actual "third place" for people in the neighborhood to enjoy their leisure time with other humans. If you want to use a laptop there's plenty of other places to do that, like the corpo Starbucks down the street. This place is literally underrated here because of folks complaining they can't camp out with their computers all day, get a life!

Lovely coffee however there is a strange rule that you cannot work on your laptop on the side tables. We were told that we could only have our laptops open to work on them if we were sitting at the big table in the centre. (which by the way has no outlets) Sort of defeats the purpose of being a friendly coffee shop as a lot of people I know go to places like this to get some quiet work time. Great books have been written at coffee shops, perhaps this is something the management could reconsider? Food for thoughts ... :)

Plain and simple review: This coffee shop feels like a museum. There’s so many rules!! There are no plugs for computer sadly 🥲 So if you running out of juice better luck running to the next shop. They have live music on weekends or on selective days. Thier food menu is to die for. I recommend the “Tuna Melt” and if you want something to drink “the honeybee” is pretty good! The coffee shop also serves alcohol 🍺🍷

Came to Expresso 77 Saturday night to see my friend Jon Christopher Allen perform in this quaint and comfy coffee shoppe…that is way more than coffee! A wall of windows that bring the outdoor in. The weather was great. The folks are friendly. An overall good time. Posting this review to share my experience and boost local businesses that survived the pandemic and still serve the community.
