Super cute place to take company for the ambiance and decor alone. Beautiful restaurant inside of an old bank with super high ceilings, nice furniture and wine vault. Loved the golden beet salad and the duck fat fries. They make birthdays extra special and the servers are very knowledgeable. Will be back maybe to check out the bar vibe and have dinner there.
I took my wife to Tellers for her birthday and I've never been more impressed. The food, the ambiance, the service - every aspect of this restaurant is pristine. Our server for the evening, Kyle, was an absolute pleasure as well.
I cannot wait to attend in the future.

In Islip Tellers opens at Noon. A beautiful restaurant that in 1929 was a bank. 24 years ago it was changed after Chase moved. They have a fire place in back. Upstairs dining and wine volts for purchase. Our server has been there 22 years. I felt Regal. Lunch special 24.00 has appetizer and entree. They also have menu for desserts including a real Root beer float. A definite place to go to have a meal, a meeting or an occasion.
Tellers Chophouse is an outstanding steak house. Great ambiance and atmosphere for the whole family. Highly recommend if you want great steak and all the sides!
Been here twice now and let me say: WOW. Incredible food, spectacular service; highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a breathtaking dining experience! Drinks, apps, steaks, desserts; 10/10 all around!

Background: made a last minute reservation for a Friday night and got in early. This was on our list of places to visit and very happy we did.
Atmosphere: lovely main building. We ended up sitting upstairs next to a room set for a private party of 18 or 20, we were in a fairly private room for most of our meal. Everything was nice for a fancy meal.
Food: husband ordered the NY strip (dry aged) and I had the beef wellington. We started with calamari and had sides of brussel sprouts and tater tots. They were definitely more like rouns croquettes than traditional cafeteria tater tots but were delicious. Would recommend! Dessert was a shared creme brulee, no complaints.
Service: our waiter Carlos was the perfect blend of attentive and helpful. He recommended drinks when we ordered (Tellers cosmo instead of a traditional-it was better than a traditional one!). He was always a few steps away so a simple head not would call him over. He checked on us a few times.
Would I go back: 100% husband came home and was looking at the menu for what he'd wanna order next time. Would recommend it. Looking forward to going back!
I enjoy the whole Tellers experience. First time there, didn't know what to expect. The appetizer were made to perfection and so was the steak. Ended the night with coffee and good conversation. Thank you Tellers for the experience. Will dine again.
This is one of the better steak houses on Long Island. Everything from the food to the service and ambiance. This is definitely one to return to again and again.
Went there for our 13th wedding anniversary, they greeted us with a card and also a complimentary dessert and prosecco toast! Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Never have a bad meal there.
My family and I have been going to Tellers for 16 years now. The area by the fireplace is cozy and perfect for date night. We even bring our out of town guests to dine there because the food is always delicious and the service is amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming and love how they always make us feel at home. We love Tellers and recommend to everyone!
