If there were 10 Stars we would rate it 10! Shrimp plate was fresh and delicious, wifey had the shrimp wrap and equally the best shrimp she has eaten. If you go past this place you missed a great meal!

Very cool little spot. Excellent food and very friendly service. I had a new dish that they are just adding to the menu. Mahi and shrimp with a tempura like batter. Served over a bit of rice with a red onion slaw. Very very good! Highly recommend!
This Place is a Hidden Gem in plain sight,The Food here Was Amazing, Great Customer Service,Very Friendly,Helpful &Patient Staff. Clean Environment, Perfect Street View,Family Oriented Establishment.. I Will definitely come back to pay them a visit . I totally recommend their (Shrimp Rice Bowl ,Mahi&Shrimp Platter) 👍
Food was excellent. I had the coconut shrimp and Brussel sprouts!! Service was excellent! He explained the menu and food was cooked to order. I loved atmosphere...the outside decor was so cutely decorated. I love that they have healthy cooking options with gluten-free batter...

Small place but big taste! All the food we ordered was amazing, and a big bonus is the gluten free fried seafood! Definitely worth stopping in. They have big portions and the server was very attentive! This will be a stop for us on every trip down to the Keys from now on!
Great local atmosphere, they were able to seat our large out of town party immediately. The waiter was friendly and inviting and was quick on the water refills. Coconut shrimp was seriously good, wish it was a bucket full. Shrimp po boy was seriously tasty and fresh. This was a great meal before we all go diving!!! Would come back if ever in this area again. Thanks Twisted Shrimp!!
It was a great experience!!! Now it’s our great spot to Go To and recommend to our friends when they come down. Food came out very quick and it was delicious. Shrimp were so good, cooked just right and seasoning (breading) on it complemented every bite. Mahi tacos were delicious, great flavor combinations. Our waiter Mathew was very nice, attentive and knowledgeable of menu. GREAT experience!!! Thank you for having great food and staff!
Yes! We've eaten at a few great places in the Keys so far but this is definitely a contender for the best. I got a mahi rice bowl which was really good (may ask them to hold the hot sauce if that's not your thing). My wife got the coconut shrimp - I'm not usually a shrimp person, but I thought that was really good as well. Great service from Simon as well!

Found this little hole in the wall place on Google reviews, looking for somewhere to eat lunch. Had a 4.8 star rating and the reviews were all good. Was skeptical upon arriving but looks doesn't mean a thing here. The tuna nachos were amazing and I learned that most every food item there is homemade right down to thier sauces and nacho chips. Frank the manager gave us a bowl of crab bisque to try after talking with him for several minutes about how they make almost everything on site. I had seared tuna tacos and my wife had the coconut shrimp in which the breading was perfect and tasted amazing as well. Definitely a place you want to put on your list to stop by and try. Im usually tough on my critiques of places but I couldn't find a single thing I would change. Small menu and homemade flavors that you rarely find anywhere. I wish there was a twisted shrimp in my local area so I could be a regular there. If I'm in the area, I will certainly be a regular while I'm in town in the future. Stop by and give them a try. Some of the best food I've found in the keys during my stay.
Our meal was delicious! We had the bacon shrimp quesadillas for our appetizer which was off the chain fabulous! Then the shrimp and grits with a side of Brussels sprouts for myself YUMMY! And the shrimp wrap with a side of rice and beans for the hubby. Needless to say we will be back! Damn good!!! Highly recommended!!!!
Stopped by for lunch, was a great decision. The food was terrific, all fresh and perfect texture and taste. Highly recommend. Definitely will be back. If someone left a negative review, check their profile. Most likely most of their reviews would be negative. You cannot get anything fresher then here at Twisted Shrimp.
Just a heads up... we've been back with different sets of friends 4 more times and everyone loves the food here, especially my wife and myself. It's a must visit, you'll love it.
Our last pictures are of Carlos and Simon, they always make sure you're completely happy with everything. A few more delicious dishes, and a couple new deserts shown by Carlos. Our sixth visit in two weeks, now we're off to head back home.
