Service is good! Place has good vibes. Outdoor seating is cool during summer noon. I like this place just for its unique food serve style- that is the bread bowl. I ordered the farmers veggie sourdough bread bowl with jackfruit. It’s whole protein pack food. Side mint sauce give a good punch of flavor . One bread bowl was so full for one person.I did make it to go and had the left over on the same day evening, it tasted good.

Delicious food, but they forgot the chicken on mine and forgot about my friend’s order. When reminded, they made it and forgot the pulled pork. Still tasted great though, hopefully just an off day!

Food was.... Dank. We split a build your own Mac daddy and we both agreed that it was solid. The bread was nice and toasty and the Mac was pretty tasty as well. A bit pricy for IV food but worth it if you split it between two people. Probably not enough food to split between two people who eat a lot though

Awesome food. We had the loaded mashed potato, the og, and the hangover. All three super good (last has medium heat) filling and bread bowl is amazing, crispy exterior and soft interior. Basil lemonade and passion fruit sweet tea are also tasty and recommended. Wish we had this at home!

Been there 4 times in 3 years, it was great as Buddha bowls, but don’t bother, great idea bad soup, stale bread, bad service, they forget your order, then make you wait to heat up your soup. (You might want to think the best, but expect the worst.) never order food to go, (it’s kind of dirty there, make sure your food comes hot, cause you know it’s just reheated)
Day after edit ......intestinal adventure !

During a family weekend at UCSB, I brought both my girls here for lunch on the recommendation of my Gaucho. It’s a small local place in IV and it was perfect. Something for each of us. My oldest had their Mac Daddy, my youngest had a bowl of Mac and Cheese and I made my own.
I like the idea of the pasta dish in a bread bowl, it’s creative and reminds me of the Mac and Cheese Bowls at Paradise Pier in Disney’s California Adventure Park. However, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got my bowl. I chose the pesto sauce, and not being here before, didn’t realize that all the bowls come with pasta/mac and cheese. I added chicken, onions and mushrooms, topped with cheese. It was toasted and then brought to our table. It looked amazing!
It was great, however as I got further down into the bowl, there was a lot of water making the bread bowl quite soggy and I didn’t end up finishing it. I think if I go back in the future, I will ask for less or no pasta as I really was looking forward to enjoying the whole thing, break and all as the garlic butter they use to toast it with is darn good! I hope that when we go back to visit my Gaucho, we will be back and bring her dad too!
In all it was good, I just don’t like when my food gets soggy, I could be picky but wasn’t a fan of that part.

My original post was "Simple and delicious, it just makes you smile, and sleep like a baby after having it" (old photo). Now is completly different, they changed toppings and quality, not healthy at all, they don't have any veggies, and their protein options don't look fresh or tasty. Not coming back
