Eggmania

An absolute paradise for eggetarians. With that said, they have quite a bit of options for vegetarians and meat lovers as well. They have a good amount of liquors and couple of beers on tap. The place is very well decorated, and they have plenty of wall hangings that have puns made with eggs. You could enjoy some good starters and good desserts if not here, than in the other neighborhood shops. Cheers to this awesome place, and looking forward to going to this location in Dallas soon.

As the name suggests, this place specializes in egg based dishes. Though a little limited on the meat menu, I wasn't disappointed with the tawa butter chicken (photo attached). Also liked the egg katora, and the volcano egg biryani. Striking a true balance between Indian and American cuisines, you'll find a lot of grated cheese on almost every dish (but hey, good cheese makes everything better!)

If you are familiar with Dhabas in India, in case you are not, it's a lowkey restaurant type place which has a limited menu but execute them real well with few drinks on the side.That's what eggmania reminded me of in Iselin. The menu has a lot of egg dishes, as you expect from the name. We were craving chicken so ordered, tawa butter chicken and crispy chicken sandwich. And we requested spicy and very spicy respectively. Be careful with choosing the spice level, very spicy is indeed extremely spicy, not American spicy :p The tawa curry is extremely good, add a bit of lime and you will thank me later. The sandwich is equally delicious. They also have Indian beers like kingfisher and Bira in addition to the regular drinks. Overall, One of the few Indian places where you can have a few beers and hangout. I will order their egg dishes next time around.

Just one word AMAZING!! We had ordered chicken chatpata sandwich, volcano biryani and egg lava fry.. I had tried volcano biryani before at their Jersey branch but tried the sandwich and egg lava fry for the first time and was completely blown over! The sandwich is a must try, very unique flavors and delicious taste. The egg lava fry was very creative, the way they blended the mint flavor in the spicy curry was exceptional. They were short staffed so the head waitress was literally on her heels, but her demeanor was very calm and composed and she checked on tables several times to make sure everything was perfect.. This place always amazes me and I will be back for sure!
