Absolute gem of a place for authentic Indian street food. Usually busy, staff is polite, place is clean. It's not the 'go to a fancy dinner with ambience kinda place', more like a regular Indian eatery you stop by for a quick bite. Must go to if you are in the area.
100 types of Paratha's to choose from and even if that's enough make your own choosing 5 toppings. The Paratha's are super delicious and chat is very tasty too . Staff is very quick and friendly. Thank you for making our family dinner outing amazing!
I’m writing this as a common review for both the Iselin and East Windsor Khasiyat locations, as everything is excellent and standard when it comes to the quality/taste of the food and the customer service.
Haven of Parathas - that’s how I’d like to call this place. They have numbered their variety of parathas from 1-100 that you can literally play a game of closing your eyes, pointing your finger randomly over a point on the menu card and order that number of paratha.
We usually order couple of parathas and a chaat item whenever we visit a Khasiyat. Hands down, they have the best parathas in town. How could someone consistently make the best parathas when they have a large array of choices to pick from?!
They are business smart and environment friendly when it comes to the plates and cups they use. They don’t give your dishes in porcelain or plastic but they use hard paper/wood material that’s easy for them to dispose. But the downside is the size of those plates or cups. You have a very small circumference to work through your hands on the dishes and it’s not an ideal experience when you eat. I’m not sure if this will reach the business for them to consider and improve but this is the reason I rate this place a star lesser.
With the old Dimple now closed, Khasiyat is our go-to destination for Mumbai / Indian vegetarian street food. Service is Spartan and focused on efficiency. Parathas are incredible. We usually go for pav bhaji, chhole bhatore, and dahi batata puri as well. I personally love the falooda.
Place gets crowded, even after they expanded. Parking lot is usually full - use the municipal parking on the other side of Oak Tree Rd.
Services was quick, and food was made to order.
Their chat and bhel etc. are really good but their Parathas are ok. I wish they had chai on the menu.
One of the best restaurant for vegetarians. The Food they serve is worth enough and also tasty which fills our stomach. Paratha is famous in khasiyat. They serve 100 styles of paratha and also give us choice for making our custom one. They even serve Chats, Starters and south Indian style. They even have drinks like falooda, milkshakes, and lassi, ice cream, dessert. I highly recommend you to have food here.Hope, even you like the food as me. I Do go regularly here, at least twice a week, that's the reason iam suggesting you this !! Specifically for vegetarians!!
They have options of Dine-in, Take out-( pickup, Uber eats, Doordash, GrubHub), also Catering.
It's really good food but expect to wait 20-30 minutes + for your food because everything is made to order. The food is very delicious.
I love this place! I’ve only had Aloo Paratha here. It’s big, hot off the tava, comes with achar and homemade yogurt! I had aloo with onion and jalapeño. Perfect. Awesome mango lassi also, (I had the lassi last time).
