Sonic Drive-in

Weird location, hard to get to. You have to go through a residential area to get to it. Kind of run-down building. Staying at a hotel nearby and walked to Sonic to get food and also walk our dog at the same time. We realized that we didn’t bring our wallets and when we asked an employee that came out to take food to a car if they took Google Pay or Apple Pay she responded no in a rude manner. Glad we didn’t have our wallets to buy food. Not a location I would want to support.

I was at the place for ten minutes and no one answered the call. I pushed the button two times and the screen said we be with you shortly. I had to call in and ask if they were closed. Finally they answered the call button. Then it only took five minutes to get my food out. The lady was very nice that took my order.

They served me some old food that I guess was reheated in the microwave. My chili cheese coney looked old to the point I didn’t want to eat it. My tater tots were also obviously not fresh. Didn’t have the energy to drive back in this heat so I just threw my food in the trash. Makes no sense that after a certain time Sonic can be either a hit or miss.

Ordered through mobile app. Pulled up, checked in, and waited for food. Woman who brought food and drinks out started shoving the drinks in my face and said here sir(I'm a woman). Then she was shouting at the car on the other side of me about what they wanted. When I asked for a drink carrier (I ordered 3 drinks and was in the truck alone), she looks at me huffed and said ok. I waited for over 10 minutes watched her come out twice to deliver other people food and no drink carrier. Finally got to my destination and my order was incomplete tried calling them to see what can be done but no answer and the voicemail box is full.
