My fiance and I have been to a bunch of different Indian restaurants in OC, and this one is our absolute favorite! We had to make a pact to limit the number of times to eat there per month for fear of becoming super fat!!! The woman who is always working there (I really should learn her name) is so sweet and always attentive. I love going for lunch buffet! Everything is so tasty and fresh unlike some Indian buffets.

Service - Our table had a reserved sign, since the lady knew about the anniversary she had a well drinks on house for us.. which made our day!. The servers were always smiling and asking us if anything we needed. Food - They served us Papadums with fresh cilantro mango and tamarind paste which they called the 'chutneys'. We had ordered the Lamb kebob sizzlers, Chicken tikka and Paneer Burji on a medium spice. Our orders came right on time and tasted really good. We were been asked on refills and any other needs. Ambience- We liked the decor and cleanliness of this place and the light music off course.. I noticed that they had a good collection of wine and Indian and domestic beers on house drinks list- Very nice place for a party or special occasion. This was a new fresh experience in the area as there are many choices for a Indian restaurant near tustin and irvine but Sanaya Restaurant will be on our top list.

If you want to know how North Indian food tastes in Indian homes visit Sanaya . it's ghar ka khana. And the bad reviews rest have given are because they arent North Indians who have tasted any authentic North Indian food. Any paneer dish and alu achari are must. The other restaurant s are adulterated with heavy cream and curries made with frozen vegetables which we never use .

The food is always fresh and amazing and staff is friendly. We have been going since they opened and always great food. Lunch buffet is plentiful and dinning in or take out is great as well.

Food is good....not too creamy like others.... Authentic indian taste .only samosa and kheer should be improved.. Kheer should be thick...
