Always a blast! Main stage or upstairs it's always a good time. Staff is polite and attentive. Bathrooms aren't the greatest but it's a live event bar, kind of expected. All in all a great place to have fun!
It is a very nice venue, if you are there for EDM scene, or any big venue please get there at doors open, or you will be stuffed like an anchovie. It's give or take if the security will actually enforce the show, had a man get tackled for smoking marijuana, but a girl jumped on stage and they didnt do much for dirt monkey
Affordable drinks for a night out and great bands. Bathrooms could use some attention but that was the only thing I found. All in all a great night!
Great venue for low-key events. During the academic year, there are usually shows every month to check out. Been coming here for shows for over six years now and they've always had fair priced drinks, generally hassle-free security, and friendly staff. Restrooms usually aren't the cleanest.
The condition & atmosphere of the venue often depends on who's putting on the event. If a producer knows what they're doing, the venue won't be overbooked and overcrowded - so it's not too hot, there's room to move around, and it's not as likely for people to spill their drinks. These problems WILL come up if you go to an overbooked show here, which are usually larger acts/bigger names.
I've been attending shows at Blue Moose for about 10 years. The bar staff has always been attentive, the security is professional and courteous, and the shows seem to always run pretty smoothly. Top notch venue for the area and I highly recommend attending a show here or just grabbing a drink and catching up with friends.
They have a fairly good sized (a few hundred) place for shows here. They have some fairly popular acts come through here. Atmosphere, Aaron Carter for example were recently there in separate shows. I have had drinks before with friends here. It was a very loud place on a night with no live music which was not appealing to me. They have some great musical acts though
Saw Hippo Campus and Samia here. It's a great little venue. It's standing room only, but there are risers around the outer perimeter that offer better opportunities to view the stage. Staff was quick and attentive. Drinks were kind of pricey, but not terrible.
