This was a great place to eat! Was a recommendation from a local realtor.
My suggestion go in and ask for the surprise sandwich. The family feel of the customers going in is instant.

Fantastic place in downtown Inverness. The owner is authentic and humorous. The staff is friendly and professional. The food choices are vast. The ambiance is casual and fun. We had the pasta special and it was delicious. We will be back.

Our family just stopped in for lunch on our way back home from vacation in Homosassa. This place was amazingly DELICIOUS! And the people that worked there were so friendly and warm! The man even did a magic trick for my son who loved it! I had the Shannon, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, and my husband had the Italian and added Artichoke hearts, he loved his too! We sampled a meatball and ended up ordering 6 more for dinner later. The sauce tasted like my Italian Grandma used to make. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting! Wish we lived closer!! Keep doing what your doing Little Italy! Thank you!
Dined there with a large, noisy group. Servers were very efficient and friendly. Hated we couldn't take our own wine and pay a corkage fee. It would have meant substantially more $$ for the restaurant since most of us didn't buy the wines on their menu. I haven't visited during the week when its a deli however the selection looked really good.
Stopped in from out of town; great choice for lunch; sub was perfectly portioned; wife had a salad that was perfecto! Owner was incredibly friendly; and although our plates were spotless; he gave us some of the perfect salad dressing to go; you can taste the passion they put into it. Thanks for the hospitable experience!
Very sad to say Little Italy is closed. Posting this so others do not plan this wonderful meal stop on their travels. Please post an update if this status changes. 5 stars for all of great meals had here, wither on the bike, eating in, the Friday/Saturday night special occasion, or just sitting by the window it was always the best.
