Had a nice lunch while visiting for a work function the other day. The service was friendly and the food was good. The bartender even made me a fresh pot of coffee so I could have some to go!
We were traveling to the area and stopped in just after a storm. The food and service were great, as well as reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and stop here again on our next trip.
Went in last night with my girlfriend before heading to bear lake, i oreded the cajun catfish dinner came with coleslaw, fries, and a big piece of garlic toast and got a big piece of corn on th cob. Extremely happy with the service and the food. Also ordered 2 of the butterscotch pudding shots and let me tell ya... Dangerous they are! Almost like a frozen butterscotch icecream with alcohol, highly recommend the karlin inn!!!
A local best kept secret. LOVE the new owner and her staff are all very personable and friendly. My kids enjoy it, and so do we. We've become regulars now and it was a random place that we decided to try one night/ we have been coming back ever since. Thank you for a friendly atmosphere, good food and great service!
Good spot to swing through while you are in the area. Chances are if you are going through the area, then this is you only stop for more than a few miles.
Haven't been in a long while, it was excellent! Albeit, more pricey. Yummy!
We tried their burgers and a basket of fries. My husband says he can tell when the fries are good because I don't use ketchup. I didn't use ketchup with these, lol. The burgers had a good flavor. Prices were good. Service was friendly. My only complaint would be tables were a little sticky but that could be from what they used to clean them.
Always good food!! They have awesome hot wings!!! I always ask for my wings well done and they always are!! Pizza is REALLY great too!! We have dined in and takeout as well!! Always consistently good!! The cook has been there a long time and does a great job!!!
The Cajun Catfish was delish! With the garlic bread and some cold beers 🍻
Cute little rustic vibe, cozy and inviting. Not too bright, which is great for sensitive eyes. The bathroom was clean and the food was both quick and delicious (granted, we were there early on Sunday and there weren't too many other people so your mileage may vary on the speed of your meal).
Honestly, the burger I ordered was just perfect. A little on the greasy side but miles better than anything you're going to get from McDonald's or Burger King. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor -- and the FRIES. Oh my gosh, the FRIES! They were some of the best fries I've ever had.
Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing - the perfect balance. She was very helpful, friendly, and even recommended a local distillery that we went to check out immediately after -- and enjoyed VERY MUCH. I didn't catch her name but she says she normally only works on Sundays and has been there for about 15 years. I hope the next time we're in the area, that we can stop on a Sunday again.
