I've been going to La Pinata since I was a little girl and when I come home to the desert to visit and need authentic Mexican food, this is the place. Plus the signed Danny Glover photo in the front is amazing. If Glover likes it, you know it's good.

Love the food and the people but recently learned that they pool all tips for a week. That means that an employee that works only 2 days gets the same amount as those that work 5 or more. The GM also takes their share. These workers work minimum wage $9.00 an hour and can't keep their own tips? There's something wrong with this picture. Let these hard workers keep what is rightly theirs.
