Hole in the wall with delicious food!! My friend comes here regularly and she got me here because I had to have the chilaquiles. And she was so so right. They are the best I've ever had and I think I am spoilt for anything else now. Good portions and very tasty. We got asada and an egg and this is how you do it. Their black coffee was also delicious. I cannot describe how yummy this food is. Go and taste it!!

Great tamales. I can see why they have won so many awards. The photo is of two pork tamales with green sauce and two eggs over easy

Casa de Silvia thank you for your great Cafe de Olla 😍. Will try your other drinks. First you order your food and then take your seat. I recommend looking at their menu on Google maps to make up your mind on what to eat. They do have a short menu! Which in a way is good because it's quality over quanity, right? I don't recommend this place for babies or toddlers so much. More for adults and teenagers. Reason is because their food is authentic Mexican food. Mexican good like abuela and mom cook is with spice. This is how it is in Mexico 🇲🇽. My toddler could only handle beans and tortillas. Their tamal de queso is spicy but very good taste just got cold fast should have ate it First. Wasn't a big fan of the salsa. Their service was fast. When it's big groups I notice that the food doesn't all come out at once. They do their best. I do want to be back and try their rest of their plates.

You don't have to wait for the Tamale Festival to try some of the best tamales in California. This place is a family owned restaurant with some of the most authentic Mexican food I've ever tried. The tortillas are handmade, and their coffee de la hoya is their own recipe. The atmosphere is great and the service is amazing. You can also order some of their award winning tamales to go.

Authentic, af. Loved it, after a long weekend of dancing 💃 🕺I got the Chilaquiles Divorciados y un café de horchata. Rojo is a bit more hot than Verde, so expect that.

Cynthis Rosales. The lady who left a a bad review is just making things up. Almost every mexican restaurant i go to writes all orders down. She doesn't under stand that the small machine they use to charge your debit/credit card has all the records of the sales they made. It's newest thing at almost all businesses. Just goes to show how uneducated people are now a days. She's just mad at the prices. Go some where else then. They don't need your business. Del taco is down the street. Much cheaper.

We like this place. This is a neat place. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. I love their horchata coffee so much. This time I ordered their chilaquiles divorciados and It was so full of flavor. My daughters ordered the caldo de pollo and they said it was delicious too. The only thing I don’t like from this place is the price. I think it’s a little bit pricey for the amount of food they offer. Idk, we all think different. Just my point of view.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, quick kitchen! This place is sooo good! Either getting a dozen tamales (year round!!!) or the Del Norte breakfast plate, Casa de Silvia is always delicious. All of the horchata drinks are bomb too!

Good service, great food! The portions were just right. If you’re a big eater, add some protein or a side to your meal. My chilaquiles divorciados were delicious and my eggs (extra charge) were perfectly cooked. The café de olla was strong and tasty. Highly recommend.
