Josh was great. Wonderful, old school vibe. Crowd definitely leans conservative, which I love. Food was top notch. Wife had pan fried chicken, and I enjoyed the chicken club sandwich. God, cold beer. We will be back next time we visit the area!

Delicious fried chicken. We went in on Friday night at 8:30 and they had already shut down the kitchen. Went back on Saturday afternoon. Dining room opens at 5 but they serve food in the bar.. yay. Happy birthday lunch to me before a concert.

Since my wife can eat chicken for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I thought it would be nice to go out for some pan fried chicken. And I found just the place. Murph's Gaslight has a chicken recipe that keeps customers coming back for many years. This is the simple recipe that your mom and grandma used when they cooked chicken in the skillet for dinner. It's a recipe that still works.
The atmosphere at Murph's Gaslight is something between a small sports bar and a private country club. Don't let that intimidate you from eating a wonderful chicken meal. The crowd is friendly and the servers want you to be pleased with your experience.
We went for lunch and were served 4 nice portions of chicken, with fries and a delicious Cole slaw. Our plates look good don't they! If you love chicken, you better go to Murph's Gaslight !

The family style chicken dinner was superb. A healing plate of great tasting pan fried chicken that never ended, and you get to take the extra home. Bowls of mashed potatoes, corn and beans and some corn bread and salad to start the meal with. As good as it is you definitely will not leave hungry. Service was prompt and friendly.

Awesome chicken! Very friendly staff! Murph's has been going strong since 1976. There aren't many places left like this; especially in the desert. Very chill retro scene with a lot of regulars. Don't miss out!

The chicken is the best in the valley! They have a great menu including wings and sliders that are SO tasty. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. The bar is really a fun place as you meet such great folks...good conversations, lots of laughs and the bartenders John,Ali, Annette, Jenna and Jack take good care of you. The owner Josh is there and wants each customer to have a great dining..drinking experience!!

Wow. I have driven by this place more times than I can count. I regret that I have never been here until now. The food is flavorful. The chicken is some of the most tender chicken I have ever eaten. I really don't think I can say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be going back at least once a week. If you're looking for a family style restaurant an amazing price this is the place to go. You will not regret it. Thank you to all the people at murph's Gaslight that make it great!

Good food, good drinks, good service. The crowd tends to be older. There is a pub/bar side and the restaurant side. They have room for larger parties, they also have food to go. Portions are good sized and they are a little on the high priced side but worth the visit occasionally when you want a home style meal.
