The best breakfast we have had in a long time. Everything was hot including pancakes and hashbrowns. I had chilie relleno omelette which was outstanding. Wife had date pancakes which she said were very good. Highly recommend, food good, but most important was all hot.
When I asked for crisp bacon � I actually got it! Breakfast was delicious and service was stupendous. Waitstaff must have asked 10 times if everything was ok and did we need anything. Highly recommend it.
A very nice hometown restaurant. Good family atmosphere. 5he food was great and delicious. Could have put a little more gravy on the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy.
If you'd like a cocktail with your meal they have those as well.
I don't live in the area. Me and eight family members are here for a week on vacation. We were all happy with Sloan's.
This is an authentic hometown restaurant. Food, service, atmosphere was all great. We will definitely be coming here more often.
The cutest diner! I highly recommend that you visit if you are in the area. We stopped by twice during our 1 week stay. First off the pancakes are sooooo good! They are so fluffy. The staff is so sweet and provide great service. We had a big group with children and they were very patient with us. The portion sizes are big. We really enjoyed the fries (they are crispy), the biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, steak and eggs and the pancakes. Seriously the pancakes are the best.
The food was so delicious! Everything is freshly made and served right away, I can't think of anything wrong about this place other than it gets packed because the service/food is that good!
Decided to stop in for something to eat on a Monday afternoon after work. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. We ordered the cheeseburger and the biscuits and gravy (My boyfriend was craving them). The homemade Biscuits & gravy were out of this world delicious and so was the cheeseburger. We decided to try the crepes for dessert and OMGeeee…they were fresh and oh so flavorful. If you haven’t been out to Sloans it’s a must try.
Homey restaurant with large portions. Came here with a group of nine and we had no reservations, but they were still able to seat us within 15-20 minutes on a Saturday around 11am. Free spacious parking lot. Credit cards accepted. Good for kids. They do serve alcohol and have a lunch special where you can get a beer and a burger. They still serve breakfast later in the day. Vegetarian options are available. Indoor dining only.
The omelette were large and came with a choice of two sides, which I felt was pretty generously portioned. I got hash browns and a pancake for my side. I had enough food for a leftover breakfast the following day. Service was quick and efficient.
My fiancé and I decided to randomly eat at Sloan’s for dinner. The restaurant has a welcoming cozy feel to it. We were immediately greeted and seated by the hostess. The waitress was super friendly and took our drink order right away. I ended up ordering the fish and chips, fiancé got chicken tenders and we split a order of the boneless wings. The fish and chips had an excellent crunch to them from the homemade batter, the fish was moist and fries were pretty good. The chicken tenders had a nice crunch to them and moist inside. But the stand out was the boneless Buffalo wings! The pack some heat! Definitely worth a try if your craving comfort food.
I ordered the skillet, was a lot of food, and was super delicious. It can get pretty packed on the weekends, but the wait is worth itm Great breakfast options.
Great food, Good Prices and Big portions. You can not beat the drink prices at the bar either. They have the BEST Whiskey and Tequila selections in town..
My wife and I stopped at Sloan's on our way home from the weekend in Indio.
I selected the BLTA - bacon lettuce, tomato 🍅 and avocado 🥑 and a side of tater tots.
The BLTA was excellent, while the tater tots were just ok. I state the tater tots were okay as they had zero seasoning. I wasn't looking for heavy seasoning, yet a bit of garlic salt or salt and pepper while cooking would set a better flavor profile.
This is not a complaint, yet a suggestion. I still gave the meal five stars, as it deserved it. Also, the endless hot coffee was also delicious.
I'd recommend Sloans noting that it is busy, so expect a wait on busy periods.
