First time here was referred by someone small family owned place. The food was great awesome servings and fresh. I order two gorditas of chicharron ( pork skin ) one taco of tripas probably the best I had in a long long time. These are really the places I love small family owned nothing fancy but killer food.

The tacos were delicious!! I had chicken, steak and chorizo with cilantro and onion...authentic style! It was done before I got back from swiping my card inside the store. Definitely some of the best in the city! 💯💪🏽❤️

The restaurant attached to La Canasta is a hidden gem. An authentic step into Mexican cuisine, the prices are great and the food is scrumptious! Weekends only, there is also barbacoa on the menu, a kind of bighorn sheep that is served with a tasty sauce (not spicy), along with rice & beans. Well worth trying if you're adventurous!
I love the taco truck outside. Only went in to pay once and everyone quit speaking Spanish... LOL. It made me feel a little outta place, but the guy at the register spoke to me in English and got me out of there quick.
Tear down your wall and take a trip to mexico. This place is mom and pop shop done right. The staff is excellent and the food is even better. Many times after work I stop in grab pre made fajita or some steak. service witha smile and wonderful options. Just honest good people makin lawrence great again.

Great tiny market, just like the ones in Mexico! Lots of fresh meat options and some cheese options too at their butcher counter. All the necessary produce for an authentic Mexican meal along with the nonperishables like beans, rice, and canned goods you'll need too.

Then outside you'll find a taco truck for a quick bite or stop in the restaurant connected to the market for a meal (the restaurant is a 3 star in my opinion based off of flavor and quality. The service is 5 star, very sweet people)
