What an amazing BBQ place- i just wish it were in Zionsville so i could have it every day! I’ll continue to drive down on the weekends to get the best bbq in a great location. The mashed potatoes & brisket is out of this world and the nachos w pulled pork is incredible- I’ll never eat regular nachos again!

There are very few pitmasters left that cook with wood only. The brisket and pulled pork were fantastic. They have multiple bbq sauces. The mustard bbq sauce was spectacular.

By far the best barbecue I've had in Indiana and some of the best brisket I've had outside of Texas. Great bark, great flavor, creative sides. It might honestly be the best meal I've had in Indianapolis.

A group of us got a big platter that included a little of everything. The staff was friendly and I think gave us a little extra food. It was reasonably priced and portions were big. You can eat on the patio or inside the Metazoa Brewery which is right there. I’ll be back!

Excellent brisket and sides! The brisket is super tender and the bark is very tasty. Really like the sides, especially the Mac n cheese and street corn. It goes very well with beer! Hats off to this great food truck with high quality food and excellent service!

Best BBQ in Indy hands down! Especially if you know good BBQ and want more than overly sauced and sweet meat. Sides are just ok could use improvement. Had my order wrong once but not a huge deal. Customer service is good. But once again, best brisket and ribs in the city!!!!

Had a great experience yesterday with Old Gold Barbecue! Had their "wonder wings" and mac & cheese if you haven't had them they're awesome ask for them next time your there! And then a little later I had the brisket and it was awesome too! And even more important than the food they were cool guys and had great customer service!

Friendly owners. Food is ridiculously good. The Brisket Burger almost had me fall out my seat. The Mac n Cheese was on another level of good. They had Coke in real glass bottles to top. I'm counting my days when I will be able to come back.

This was my first time and the food was delicious! Everything was fully cooked 😁 Brisket was moist, tender and full of flavor! My favorite side was the corn. Definitely will be going back to this place in the near future!

First time here. Incredible experience. I had my wife, toddler and baby with me not realizing families could only order to-go. One of the staff members offered to move a table outside the fenced in area (where it’s 21+) to allow us to sit and eat. He didn’t have to do this and it shows how genuine they are, ensuring their customers have a pleasant experience. We had brisket and pork and both were exceptional. Moist, flavorful, tender, and not over smoked. They truly do Texas bbq justice. I will absolutely be returning with my wife to get the full experience!

I am not a big BBQ person - but my SO is. We went to Metazoa this past weekend and ate at their food truck, old gold BBQ. I couldn’t find something on the menu that sparked my interest, but I had seen on Google maps that they have had a potato Turkey bowl before (around thanksgiving). So I asked about that dish, and though it wasn’t currently on their menu, they made it happen!!! They created a dish very similar with the ingredients they had on hand. It was delicious! Super nice persons and really good food.

I went to Metazoa for a beer and didn’t know they had a food truck there. It was supper tasty and just the right amount of spice. Clearly the owners are from the south bringing that good flavor up north. I’d post a photo but the food was soo good it didn’t last long. I got Mac and cheese, wonder wings, and nachos. 💯 recommend.

This place is phenomenal. Everything we tried, and we tried almost everything, was delicious! My husband and I have been to numerous bbq joints and this one is everything we’d hoped for. After having their brisket, pulled pork, jalapeño cheddar sausages, Mac and cheese, chili and their beans, we’ll never go anywhere else for our bbq! While we enjoy a sweeter coleslaw, it was still full of flavor and fresh. We also had their street corn, it wasn’t what we expected but still had great flavor. We didn’t try their potato salad but after another customer ordered a pint along with pounds of their meat, I think that will be the next thing we try. We will be die hard customers of this establishment from here on out. This food truck far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for delivering authentic Texas BBQ! Can’t wait to come back!

Great local Indy BBQ. Food is very delicious and enjoyably simple. They focus on smoking the basic meats and making those as good as they can get. Very impressive considering they operate out of a food truck. However I will say the service is hit and miss, hence the missing star. I definitely recommend giving it a try and bring your pup by to play in the dog park while you eat.

I came for the comedy, beer, and puppies at Metazoa and was completed charmed by Old Gold BBQ! The whole experience was a well oiled machine. The gentleman that helped me was down a staff member and handled the whole line with efficiency and kindness. The food was so delicious! I had the mashed potatoe bowl and it was a great play of flavors and textures. I definitely would like to add corn the next time (there will be a next time). Thanks for the great food and service OGBBQ!!
