I haven't been to this location in a long time. I stopped here on 5/25/18. The young man that was working drive thru was extremely courteous and prompt!!! The food was fresh and hot. Their mushroom swiss burgers and shakes are delicious!

One of my favorite Steak n Shake's to go to. This location has really turned around over the years. Now that I live in MN, whenever I visit my grandmother in Indy I always stop by here. Last time I went I had a very great experience thanks to our service. Even when there was an issue with my shake, they took care of it. When I finally got it, it was DELICIOUS. Definitely cannot wait to return! Will be back soon as always. Keep up the great service.

The food was good as always. Every steak n shake I've ever been to has awful reviews, but has never disappointed me. What do you people expect? It's greasy diner food AND it's cheap. I prefer this location to the one downtown we used to hit up every week or so. The people are friendlier and smile a lot more. They even walked around trying to figure out who owned a car sitting out in the parking lot with its windows down since it started storming pretty hard. An older couple came in after we did and were seated behind us. After a few minutes, they got up and walked out of the restaurant without a word. After that, our server came to our table and apologized many times for not getting back with us sooner. We told him it was okay, and honestly we never waited for service long enough to notice. I felt bad for the guy. It seemed like they were short staffed and he was tasked with training a new girl as well. Good place. Good people.

Consistently delicious and affordable food and the shakes and the waitress, Amanda, was super nice to my daughters and myself. Place was very clean and seemed to have good morale even though they were understaffed. I was completely satisfied with our dining experience.

I love Steak and Shake but everytime I go at 3 in the morning half drunk it takes an hour to get a cheeseburger and some fries I understand this is not Steak and Shakes fault but why do you make your cheeseburgers so good and make me have to wait an hour man I love cheese burgers. I would definitely recommend this Steak and Shake over other self I have never had a problem with my food and Florida's how slow the service make be because of the time they do very well

I do like Steak'n Shake but you must have a policy not giving refills on drinks i almost never am asked if i would like a refill today I had to ask three times before I receive one. The other service is usually above average. That's why I keep coming back.

I love Steak n Shake, and I like that you can use an app to order. I'm never disappointed with the food but I wish they could find a way to speed up their drive-thru service. It's almost like the only reason they should have a window is for pick up only. That might be better than taking orders as cars pull up. And I don't like the fact that you can't pull out once you pull in. So if you go thru the drive thru just make sure you don't want to leave and you have the patience to wait for your food and other people in front of you.

There are three signs that say quality takes time and there is no better example of this mantra than Steak N Shake. I get off work at 7:30 and I am home by 9! This thirty minute experience is worth the savory taste of not my food. That is ok though, if I wanted consistency I would go elsewhere.

I can't possibly get enough of Steak N Shake's steakburgers. I could go there and order a dozen burgers and melts and be in heaven. With that said, their fries are just okay, and the service is all over the map. Some days, you get seated quickly, the servers are attentive and friendly, and the food arrives steaming hot. Some days it feels like someone dragged the staff to work by their fingernails and they'd rather be doing anything other than dealing with you or food. Today was somewhere in the middle.
